Amazing way to experience the Hunter Valley in style. Matt was super communicative from day 1 - helping answer any questions we had about the day and even let us customize our tour to include a variety of vineyards and a pescatarian friendly lunch.
We started the day with Matt greeting us at our hotel and headed to breakfast at the beach. There was more food than we could possibly finish yet it was delicious.
We headed out to the valley to do a private wine tasting and even a tour of the vineyard! Then we went to lunch and our second tasting. Lunch was multi courses and had an incredible food and wine pairing.
We finished the day with a stop at a quaint cellar door that had friendly dogs on the property which we loved. On our drive back to Sydney, Matt was able to point out kangaroos and kookaburra birds, and we pulled over to get a closer look.
We arrived back at our hotel around 6:30PM and bid farewell.
For anyone looking for a premier wine experience in the Hunter Valley - this is it. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient and a true pleasure.

We had a fantastic day filled with great wine in boutique wineries, absolutely amazing food in the restaurant Bistro Molines and relaxing time. Our favourite was chocolate and wine pairing and private winery tour at Tyrell's estate where we had a chance to taste wines straight from the barrel and some of the premium sélection.
Everything was very well organised and if wine is your things we highly recommand this primate tour company.

We are wine importers from Poland. Within very limited time we wanted to taste and see Australia. Matt was the best choice we could have made for our tour support. We started from the best ever breakfast in the charming bay. After Matt organized for us very professional tastings with wine makers on board. The Semillion we tasted was the very special discovery. The tasting was followed by fantastic lunch. Wine, food, views, comfort and awesome company of our Guide made the day. It was adventure that can be recommended for Professionals and for wine & food lovers. Thank You Matt, we hope to see You again - Ewa & Krzysztof

This was an amazing tour. Bring your appetite as you will eat well. Matt took us to some great wineries. The chocokate and wine pairing was a particular favorite. Thanks Matt for the lovely day!

We were so lucky to have found Matt and had the most amazing day trip from Sydney to the Hunter Valley for wine tasting. We wanted a more intimate experience and avoid the touristy areas and that’s exactly what Matt delivered. He picked us up at our hotel and took us for breakfast at the most charming outdoor cafe overlooking the ocean in Balmoral. What a wonderful way to start the day. We then made our way up to the hunter valley enjoying champagne while in route, where he arranged for premium tastings at two boutique wineries followed by a delicious lunch overlooking the vineyards. It was truly an unforgettable day and was the highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend Prive Tours- this is a must do experience while you’re on Sydney!!!

OMFG. Just on our way home from this amazing experience. What a great day. I have lived and grown up in sydney all my life but I could not have taken you on a tour like this. My 2 young boys were never bored and in fact now sound asleep in the back of the “Mercedes” bus. From the breakfast at Bondi to drop Nona at a well renounded spar treatment while the rest of the family enjoyed a beautiful bushwalking along cliff faces then on to the exceptional lunch at a private vineyard. The service, the care, the knowledge and the attention of detail were the things that made this such a special day. My family will talk about this for years to come. Thanks so much Matt and the team at Sydney Prive.

If you are going to Sydney and you love wine, you have to get out to a wine tour in the Hunter Valley and if you are going to do that - your guide has to be Matthew. Let me tell you, I have been on many wine tours all over the world with guides and Matthew is certainly one of the best I have been with. He picked us up in a Black Mercedes Van that was super comfortable. We stopped for a bathroom break and he served us Champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries to start the day. A great touch. Then we went to three boutique wineries and a Michelin Star lunch. The wineries were great, the lunch was out of this world and Matthew is very knowledgeable and just an all around great guy. Spending the day with him was great and he gave us a ton of knowledge about the wine area. I would totally go back and do the tour again if I was back in Sydney.

Wir buchten zum Abschluss unserer Australien Reise die Hunter Valley VIP-Weintour welches zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis wurde. In der früh wurden wir von Matt, unserem sehr freundlichen Reiseführer, vor unserem Hotel in Sydney abgeholt. Die Tour begann mit einem extrem leckeren Frühstück in einem am Wasser gelegenen Cafe. Anschließend ging es mit einem Zwischenstopp in einem Naturpark weiter, bevor wir uns auf den Weg zu unserem Hauptteil der Tour - der Weinverkostung - aufmachten. Im Hunter Valley angekommen, durften wir eine Auswahl an Weinen mit passender Schokolade verköstigen. Dabei wurden wir von einem sehr freundlichen Sommelier beraten. Abschließend ging es weiter zum Mittagessen in ein Sterne Restaurant mit wundervollem Ausblick auf die vielen Weinberge. Insgesamt war es ein perfekter Tag, welchen wir sehr genossen haben. Ein großes Dankeschön an Matt, der uns nicht nur viel über Wein erzählen konnte, sondern auch einiges über die Geschichte von Sydney.
