我对动车运行管理组有一个十分不好的体验。。由于天气恶劣，我们的旅行不能继续，我们也不能访问国王峡谷。虽然我没有拿到退款，我竟然还需要支付在爱丽丝温泉的额外的费用但我已经支付全包的夜宿。所以这让我觉得很不满意。

The trip was great and went just as planned. The heat was an issue and we had one person get heat stroke. That delayed the trip, but the guides made sure we did not miss anything. It was 42c this day. The guides made sure the sick person was well cared for and stayed with her until the ambulance came. The trip from Alice springs to Uluru is a long drive. Interesting in the morning as you get to see the nature but the ride home was at night and it is dark. Riding on the left side of the bus helps to see some of the land marks better. The bus was right on time picking us up

Tour guide at Yulara was not consistent nor very knowledgeable in his information. Hurried people along . There were elderly people who were slow.

Great day with Felipe and crew. Comfortable coach, delicious breakfast buffet and BBQ. Very hot day and full of activities so min less stressful and exhausting than doing it solo.

Knowledgeable guides, visiting many uluru and Kata Tjuṯa sites. Taking a fly net is advantageous. A thoroughly enjoyable and educational day. Well worth the trip.

Uluru and Kata Tjuta were amazing. I was personally unaware the Kata Tjuta even existed so that was a pleasant surprise. These 2 rock formations and Alice Springs are very very far apart so pack your patience for a long long day sitting in a coach. The first food stop was pretty good. Lots of tasty food and other services, and while you are there be sure and buy the fly nets. For $10 Australian you will glad you did. Everyone from Emu Run worked very hard to make our experience wonderful and by and large they succeeded. As other reviewers had pointed out, it would be better if one person drove and the another talked. The first seat in which I sat would not recline. The coach was not full so switching seats was easy, but the second seat I chose was permanently reclined. The 3rd time was the charm. The sound system in the coach was not working consistently, lots of cut outs and the odd feedback squeal. The driver was excellent in both attitude and punctuality. He was not a native English speaker so sometimes his heavy Spanish accent made it difficult to understand everything and the intermittently failing sound system did not help. Lastly the one and only door to the coach stuck shut. On 2 different occasions we were stuck in the coach for more than 10 minutes. the second time was right in front of our hotel at the end of the day (1:00AM) when we were maximally tired. Would I recommend it? Yes I would. Would I do it again? No I wouldn't, but only because I would chose to stay at the Uluru resorts directly.

This tour was GREAT value for money, well-planned, excellent catering and excellent staff from booking to doing the tour. Will use again if ever in Alice Springs. (I also used the airporter service and that was equally as good - both ways.

Visiting Australia for a once in a lifetime trip I felt we had to go to Uluru. We tried to get on some smaller tours from Uluru National Park but, with it being a state holiday, everything was booked up. So we ended up on this (very long) day tour from Alice Springs. I think that if it had been a half full coach rather than a full to the brim one it would have been a good day, but as it was, we just felt deflated. This tour, with a little more consideration in the planning stage could have been brilliant.
The pickup from the campsite was friendly and on time and then the small mini-bus took us to a full size coach. As we walked down the aisle we realised that the back 3 rows were the only ones left. Hey ho, we’ll be fine.
The coach had USB ports, yippee, but the ones on our seats (right in front of the toilet) wasn’t working, but fine, we used one from our neighbour the other side of the aisle, again not a problem.
The coach journey to the breakfast point, Erldunda Roadhouse, was good and the breakfast the roadhouse provided was excellent. There was a hot buffet or if you preferred cereal then that was also available. Tea and coffee were provided or if you really love your coffee then you could buy one too. Lots of toilets available. The time for the coach stop was a little rushed but fine, everyone was keen to get to the destination.
We then continued to Uluru, stopping for a quick stop to photograph Mount Connor, super. Arriving at Uluru we stopped for a toilet break and were given our picnic lunch, great. Lots of iced water was available (at all stops) for refilling our water bottles, so I didn’t need the extra ones that we’d taken. The wraps were more than adequate for lunch.
Our replacement driver was new to the role and didn’t seem sufficiently trained, thus he was reading the commentary script, trying to commentate and drive a full coach all at the same time. I question the safety of this but hopefully now he’s only doing the latter 2 roles. At the back of the coach we couldn’t hear the commentary other than the odd word, we did ask for it to be louder but to no avail. By this time it was also getting hot in the back of the coach, we asked for air-con to be put on stronger but it didn't make a difference.
We arrived at our first main stop Kata Tjuta and we had 45 minutes to do the walk. It took 5 minutes to get off the coach, so we’re already down to 40 minutes. My husband and I speed-walked to the end and back, quickly taking photos en-route rather than taking the time they deserved. There was just no time to “be in the moment” and experience the amazingness of this place. An extra 15 minutes would have made the world of difference. Or maybe a coach with 2 doors, one midway down the aisle. I haven’t seen these in Australia but they are really common in Europe. I appreciate that not all of our group wanted to walk to the end of the path and may have just been hanging around but 45 minutes just seemed too short.
We then were dropped off at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and later moved on to a “guided” tour of Uluru. The Cultural Centre was informative as were the 2 guided tours of the rock base but everything just felt rushed.
The finale of the day was the BBQ to watch the changing colours of Uluru whilst the sun set. We arrived really early for this but then we saw that the drivers/guides were now having to set up the BBQ and cook, we realised why there had been such a rush to get us here. I really can’t fault the food that was served, it was brilliant and the guys worked their butts off to ensure it was good. If, like other tours, Emu Run had had a separate, non-tour, person doing the food then this could have found the extra little bit of time for each of the 3 main stops: Kata Tjuta, the visitors centre and Uluru base. It also would have made the wait for the sunset shorter. Our group must have been wine lovers as they ran out of sparkling wine after just 1 glass each ☹
The drive back was hot, air-con still not working sufficiently at the back. When we stopped at the Erldunda Roadhouse for a comfort break about 5 of us we asked for more cold air and we actually got it. It’s a tricky balancing act though as the people at the front were putting on more jumpers whilst we had already taken off everything we could.
If you’re going to go on this tour, choose a day when the coach is half empty.

This is a great tour if you want to see Uluru from many sides, far, close, front and back. Very interesting to see the rock up close and hear all the stories of the anangu people.
The bbq at the end was great with lots of variety and alcohol included. Really enjoyed sipping champagne and watching the sunset.
There were only 2 negatives that we encountered which made this a 4 star instead of 5 star. The first was the tour bus which was packed so we could only get seats at the very back. We weren't able to hear the driver properly which was unfortunate because he was telling great stories. The ac was not working properly so it was stifling hot all the time. The second was the return leg at night which felt exhausting. Part of this had to do with the bus which has seats that are a bit uncomfortable especially if you are over 6 feet tall.
Overall we enjoyed the tour and would recommend it.

The walk around Uluru is very level and takes a couple hours. Comfy shoes. Usually warm during the day but cool at dawn and dusk!

Hello, I am guessing it is because of Covid 19. Despite the time frame being some time off, we are advised that there will probably not be any overseas travel, either outgoing or incoming for probably at least 12 months. Northern Territory has a high Indigenous Community who runs a Higher risk if exposed and I would suggest their State of Northern Territory will be slow to relax travel restrictions. I do sympathise. I had planned 3 trips this year...still fighting to get some refunds!!!

A google search would be your best bet but I am pretty sure that they do this run daily. It is a fantastic day and to be honest we were not all that tired even though it was a very long day but so worth it.

We live in New Caledonia, my wife and I would like to reserve for Monday, May 13, 2019 a bus trip for the day to Uluru.
I read that the departure was around 6am.We will live via airbnb at
19 undoolya Road.We will not have a car.Be sure you can be picked up from us or at a place not too far from us.

Be very careful though who you book with - we booked with Viator and comms through them has been ver6 challenging at best. We booked weeks ago and still are not sure if they have passed on our messages of our hotel location and food choice. Fingers crossed.
