Excellent way to get around Darwin and get your bearings for the rest of your stay. Stops at heaps of the tourist spots and points of interest. We visited the Art Gallery and Military Museam using the bus, and revisited other areas on other days as you don't have time to do them all in a day.

Thanks for your review 618malj, the hop on hop off service, is the best way to see as mush off Darwin, in a short time.

I chose to buy the 48 hour bus ticket and bought my senior’s ticket from the Booth at Stop One. The driver was super helpful explaining the options when I was deciding on my purchase and recommended the purchase of tickets for attractions I planned to visit over the two days. This proved to be a great choice as the line up to purchase tickets at some of the attractions was quite long.
Every driver was courteous and readily provided assistance to those requiring help to enter or exit the bus. They also clearly explained the times for pick up, drop off and location even though the brochure clearly displayed the timetable.
On the first morning a heavy shower saturated the top level seats so the driver quickly provided a chamois and the seats were soon dry, ready for departure. Up top there was a great view and often a cooling breeze which was most welcome. Downstairs was very popular as it was air conditioned, a must on 36 degrees days.
The bus is great value, takes you to the major sites, and even provides a 5pm service on Thursday evenings to the Mindil Beach Markets. The commentary was interesting, informative and often presented with Top End humour.
I’d highly recommend taking the bus if you don’t have your own transport or would prefer just to sit back and relax.

This is dead easy to do. Worth a full circuit to get oriented, then jump on and off at the places you like. Well priced, so it's really good value.

Eine tolle Tour mit einem wirklich unterhaltsamen lustigen Fahrer, der viel informatives über Sehenswürdigkeiten kurzweilig zu berichten wusste. Natürlich auf englisch mit australischem Slang, das muss man wissen. Aber um einiges besser als die Audio-Guides, die oft kaputt sind oder einem die Ohrstöpsel dauernd aus den Ohren fallen. In Darwin reiht sich nun m.E.nicht gerade ein Klopper an den nächsten, aber das Museum war sehr interessant. Und so weit vom Zentrum entfernt, ohne Bus ( oder Taxi ) wären wir da nie hin gekommen.

We booked and paid back in June so we could be very organised with this and other tours of Darwin. The Departure Point on the website ( we were told after we caught an Uber) was wrong due to noone changing this and therefore we had to wait an hour in the hot sun for the bus to come.

A good way to look around Darwin see what you can & know what else is available to visit the next day. I took a group to Darwin and they all thought it was a great orientation tour.

Hire a car at the airport for ease of travelling around.Visit Adelaide River
hop on a Croc jumping cruise. Visit Humpty Doo pub, the Aviation Museum and
Litchfield NP and Crocodilus breeding/feeding park and zoo a distance from Darwin.
There are tours, can be booked at Info Centre. The Hop on Hop off bus operates
next to centre. Well worth city tour, buses run hourly be sure to visit The Royal Flying
Doctor centre and Bombing of Darwin a must see. Museum, Sunset dinner cruise Loads of other
places that suit the individual. Pub food - great - comes with a drink - reasonable. Asian food not real good.
Ramada zen aparts located close proximity to CBD secure car parking neat clean well serviced great
Breakfast, affinity pool and more, all within walking distance of fishermans and Stokes Hill Wharf CBD. Info
Centre. Wehighly recommen a stay in Darwin.

This bus offers a great way to see the main sights in Darwin without having to rent a car. I was able to see Cullen Bay, the Museum, Parap Market, etc with running commentary and ample time to hop off and explore before the next bus came. Worth every penny!

Appreciate your review Musqat, our Hop on Hop off service visit all the ‘must do’ things/attractions in Darwin, much easier than hiring a car or walking.

Due to the arrival of a large Cruiseship, we started our service earlier and finished later (8.30am-6pm) then what is displayed on our current brochure and website, we had extra buses on during the day and we were operating a
90 min loop with a bus every 20/25 mins, however, there was a small delay early on, which was resolved quickly, for this, we apologise,
Our Operations Manager has informed me, that he did not receive any phone calls from passengers that were waiting for ‘75 minutes’ as you report, I can only assume that you missed the last bus.

what is the time frame for 24 hours pass or the 48 hours pass? Example if i buy on 23rd March at 10am, does it meant it will expire by 9.55am the next day?
