We went on the CBD Ghost tour with Andrew being our guide.
Andrew did an amazing job of giving everyone on the tour an insight into the mysterious happenings that are part of Brisbane’s history.
Looking forward to going on a cemetery tour with him on our next visit.

The stories weren’t terribly scary or even very haunted in general. It was a nice way to spend a couple of hours in the evening and hear some stories of the city’s history. The guide was a bit soft-spoken, which made it hard to hear some the stories over the traffic and others in the street.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the historical aspect of the tour but sorry to hear the stories weren't as spooky as expected and that the guide's volume was an issue. We'll work on these points to improve future experiences. Thank you again for your input!

The Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour was something we immediately wanted to do as we have done it in many other cities in Australia. It’s a great way to learn about the history of Brisbane but also some of its darker side. Andrew was a very knowledgeable guide and he put plenty of character into his tales. It’s very affordable and a great way to see some of the city at night. Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I went on the Haunted Brisbane CBD tour earlier this week, even though the tour group was small the tour still went ahead and wasn’t cancelled, Andrew our guide was amazing. The way he tells the stories is like no other. We will definitely be going again soon! I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for something different to do, the bonus you learn about the history our own backyard holds

First time doing something like this and really enjoyed it. Molly our guide was lovely and very knowledgable. If you’re into crime and looking for something different to do then I highly recommend!

My partner and I were visiting from Perth and we wanted to learn some history about Brisbane. Our tour leader was Natalie on the Haunted Brisbane CBD tour. She was absolutely amazing and had us captivated the whole tour. We learnt so much about the city’s bloody history. We cannot speak highly enough of Nat and the tour. Recommend it for tourists and Brisbane locals. Thank you!

Joined our intimate group on a Tuesday night with Andrew as our guide. He was very welcoming when we arrived at our meeting point and I found him to be very knowledgeable on each of the sites he took us to.
I highly recommend Ghost Tours Australia and Andrew as your guide. The Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour was well worth the money and the time.
If you are a believer of the paranormal…..you will feel the presence of the spirits at each of the locations.

Nat was a great guide. Told the stories with such enthusiasm. History fact and urban legend mixed together to give a most informative and entertaining presentation. Will now book for the crime tour. Loved all the tidbits of history of CBD Brisbane . I will never look at it the same way again. Superb fun congrats on a great walking tour

My experience with this ghost tour and Viator (TripAdvisor) as a third-party booking site was incredibly disappointing. The tour company claimed to be at the meeting spot, but after searching for an hour, I found no one. This included running into another tour (that started from the same meeting point at the same time), and the guide from that tour confirmed they didn't see anyone from the ghost tour company around.
The frustration escalated when I requested a refund, and Viator conducted their investigation in less than 24 hours, siding with the provider and deeming it my fault, insisting they had been present. Contrary to their report, I received no call from the provider, who claimed to be waiting for me for 45 minutes. It's baffling how an experienced tour company wouldn't recognize someone searching for an hour. The lack of accountability and transparency in this situation is deeply concerning.
I trusted Viator to ensure a reliable and enjoyable experience, but it is my opinion that they failed. Potential customers should be cautious when relying on Viator for bookings, as their dispute resolution process appears to favour providers over customers. I give this experience a 0 out of 5 stars to caution others about the unreliability of both the ghost tour provider and Viator (TripAdvisor).

Hi Justin. We appreciate your feedback. We would like to address some of the issues you have raised and hope we can come to some sort of understanding.
We understand your frustration regarding missing out on your tour. King George Square was very busy on the night of your tour, with a Christmas event running that would have made it difficult for guests to spot our guide. However, our guide was indeed at King George Square, standing near the lion statue with a Ghost Tours Australia shirt on. He stayed until 7:45pm to wait for you at the detriment of the other guest while I called you from the office. However, we think that the reason you did not receive this call was our fault as we potentially did not have international phone credit for your particular area's number at the time. This is something we will make sure doesn't happen again, as we do not want to disadvantage any international visitors.
As for the other tour company, our guide could see them, so there is no reason why their guide could not see us and let you know we were there. In fact, a group actually approached our guide and asked if he was there for the crime tour. Our guide directed the group to the other company. We are unsure why the other company did not assist you as we did for them.
As far as we are aware, Viator do not favour providers over customers. Viator contacted us with your refund request and we had to supply documentation of our booking system to confirm that we did indeed run the tour and there was another guest on the tour. If we did not do this, they would have provided you with a refund.
Whilst we understand your disappointment, and we would have loved to have you on the tour, we did communicate with you the day after the tour ran regarding what went wrong. We are a small business, and the tour we ran that night ran at a loss due to the small amount of guests and yet we went ahead anyway as we strive to provide people with a reliable, enjoyable ghost tour experience. We think that your one star review is an unfair assessment as you did not get a chance to attend the tour and we did everything we could do to contact you, however there was only so long we could wait before we had to run the tour for the other guest.
