Anni was a great mix of knowledge, humor and entertainment. She joined us in each of the days activities so was always on hand to answer any questions, or point out things we may have missed.
The tour was well planed and for me, very well balanced.
It included brief stops to purchase oysters (yum) chocolates (interesting) honey (great garden) or longer stops for cheese tasting, lunch, with the opportunity to swim, etc.
Then there was the sightseeing. Beautiful views at The Neck, informative walk through the rainforest, and the chilly, but rewarding climb to The Lighthouse.
Being able to board the bus in Hobart, cross the straight to Bruny island on a vehicular ferry and remain on board throughout the day made this a very easy way to travel. Only disappointment was not seeing an albino wallaby, but maybe next time!

Our first visit to bruny Island was a day tour from Hobart, a fitting conclusion to a ten dat garden tour. We sampled wines and cheeses, had a pleasant lunch and visited the lookout at 'the neck'. The official temperature was 12C, feels like 2C, because of the strong wind from the general direction of Antarctica. However, our spirits were not dampened - in fact we were delighted with our visit to Inala, a "Jurassic garden", complemented by a 60 minute guided tour with the head gardener.

as a regular visitor to Tasmania, I had my 3 mature young grandsons ready for the trip to Bruny Island. Our tour guide Mitch was right on time, and we left with the ferry of Kettering to Bruny Island. being a old migrant from Tasmania now living in Arizona, it was one of those most unexpected treasure days one could have with the awesome Guys. they did the hike up to the highest point morales in Bruny Island while me had a delicious lunch ready by the time they reached the deck of this gorgeous Restaurant just under this incredible hike. where Mitch was a so informative guide.
in the past, I've been many times to Bruny Island but this experience was so worth it, no driving on my end just feeling we were all on a most so interesting journey while the big guys could still have fun, but also their own privacy which they . . value. thank you Jump Tours for this forever precious memory.

It was a fantastic trip to explore somewhere that would not be visited if staying in Hobart independently. Our guide, Keegan, was knowledgeable and friendly, and the island itself is outstanding.

The Bruny Island tour was well run, really relaxed. The walk to fluted cape was well worth the effort. The food stops were great and the beer and chees place is amazing. Highly recommend this tour.

Greg was an excellent guide. 2 hr walk to the top of the cliff face was well worth it. Bruny island cheese and beer is fantastic. Loved the island!

The Jump Tours Bruny Island Day Tour was totally rad! It was super cheap and the best value. The tour left on time and was jam packed with cool shiz. The tour guide, Greg, was really informative, energetic and let's be honest he is dead set dreamboat. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially any single ladies!

I took the Bruny Island day tour. Our guide, Simon, was fairly new to the guiding business, but handled himself like an old pro. He was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. He really knew what he was doing and where he was going, and this greatly added to our experience. We felt cared for every step of the way. He really did a wonderful job, fully earning the 5-star rating, as he provided us with a 5-star experience.
However, there were many missed opportunities for beautiful photo stops (or again, just to see the sights). And let's be honest, 5-10 minutes at the Truganini Lookout, when there are 5 buses and 10 cars full of people fresh out of the ferry who want to be in the same 12 square feet at the same time as you, is not enough.
Again, 10 minutes at the lighthouse on Cape Bruny is nowhere near enough to explore this awesome place and get a feel for it.
The fault here does not lie with Simon, who followed the scheduled he was provided, but with the people who designed the tour. Just allow one more hour overall for the day and it would flow perfectly! We just zipped past so many wonderful places and barely had time to enjoy what this absolutely magical place has to offer.
All in all, I would still recommend Jump Tours and their Bruny Island experience without hesitation. You do get good value for the money! You will take the ferry, see the isthmus, do a short walk up to some very impressive sea cliffs, have lunch on a very pretty beach, see the amazing Cape Bruny Lighthouse (what a sight!) and have delicious cheese (or beer for me, as I'm lactose intolerant and the microbrewery and the cheese factory are one and the same :)). At the end of the day, you'll be a bit tired, but very happy!
