Our tour was led by Aaron, a rockstar tour guide who was not only great at his job, but also responsible for driving us around Grampians National Park from Melbourne and making sure that we were comfortable at all times. Between his awesome playlist of Australian jams that kept our spirits up during long bus rides and his humorous yet informative commentary about the history of the region and Australian wildlife, we thoroughly enjoyed having him as our guide for the day.
The tour itself took us on several scenic walks and to a couple of viewing points that offered sweeping, panoramic views of the lakes, forests and mountain ranges of the Grampians below. At Halls Gap, we were lucky to be able to see eastern grey kangaroos relaxing and grazing on the fields. We also went on short walks through forests and creeks that led to beautiful waterfalls and awe-inspiring views of magnificent gorges amid towering sandstone formations at Wonderland Range. We ended the day with a drive to Reid’s Lookout to take in incredible bird’s eye views of the national park at sunset.
The good thing about this tour is that it isn’t too strenuous. Folks of all ages joined our group and we were free to choose not to participate in some of the walks if we weren’t comfortable. Although we couldn’t spend too much time at each stop, we were glad that we were able to see as much as we did in a single day. Thanks again to Aaron and Go West Tours for the amazing and unforgettable experience in the Grampians! ❤️

From the moment you meet Aaron, you can tell he is passionate about the Grampians. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the area, its history, geology, and wildlife, and he is always eager to share this knowledge with his guests. He is friendly, approachable, and patient, making him the perfect guide for families, couples, and solo travelers alike.
As you hike through the mountains, Aaron's knowledge and enthusiasm for the area become infectious. He points out geological features which have been sculpted by the elements over millions of years, and the stunning waterfalls that cascade down the mountainsides. His tales are always engaging and entertaining, bringing the landscape to life and making the tour all the more memorable.
In short, if you're looking for a guide to lead you through the Grampian Mountains, Aaron is the best choice you could make. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendly demeanor make him the perfect guide for anyone looking to explore this stunning part of grampians.

Wat een bijzonder mooie ervaring ! Een dag om nooit te vergeten.
Met geen woorden te beschrijven hoe prachtig de natuur is tijdens deze toer. Bij iedere stop voldoende tijd om te genieten van al het mooie wat te zien was. Vooral de watervallen waren prachtig. Bijzondere dank voor onze super enthousiaste gids Red.
De foto's op de aankondiging van de toer zijn prachtig - maar wat je te zien krijgt is nog zoveel mooier. Gewoon doen wanneer je iets bijzonders wilt ervaren !
Met geen woorden te beschrijven hoe prachtig de natuur is tijdens deze toer. Bij iedere stop voldoende tijd om te genieten van al het mooie wat te zien was. Vooral de watervallen waren prachtig. Bijzondere dank voor onze super enthousiaste gids Red.
De foto's op de aankondiging van de toer zijn prachtig - maar wat je te zien krijgt is nog zoveel mooier. Gewoon doen wanneer je iets bijzonders wilt ervaren !

Aaron, our tour guide for this tour is a very friendly and engaging person. He is very knowledgeable in the history of Melbourne and his passionate and enthusiastic spirit made the tour much more enjoyable. Terry is also very friendly and helpful during the tour.

Today we went to the the Grampian hike waterfall tour. Today Aaron and Terry were our tour guides. They both did a great job explaining what we were doing. Aaron was so funny and was so knowledge able and had lots of fun facts along the way. My fiancé and I will for sure take another tour. We also got lots of photos with kangaroos and waterfalls. The hikes were breathtaking and beautifully fun views . Thanks again Aaron and Terry.

Sorry I just saw your question now. It could be a bit hard because while most of the climb was fairly easy, there were some parts that could be a bit of a strain for someone who is 7 months pregnant. You probably wouldn’t want to risk even a small tumble while being pregnant. (You probably gave birth already so congrats to your family too!)

hi, how long would we have to walk for? Does it include uphill walking or include stairs a lot? I'm just wondering if this is suitable for a couple in their late 60s.

There is one walk that is quite steep and takes about 30 minutes. Do have the option not do it. All others are not difficult. Choose what you want to do.

The Grampians Tour is a whole day long tour, from as early as 7am pick up to 9pm drop off, and it is a real long drive as well, so it seems almost impossible to come back to town at 5pm. But I thought it definitely worth a whole day since the scenic sights are amazing.
