Spectacular tour guide, I believe his name was Dandy and he went above and beyond to make the trip memorable. He was very professional, personable and kind - he went out of his way to find spots to see koalas and kangaroos, and made a trip back to pick up a guests bag that she forgot. I almost lost count how many stops and things there are to do on this trip in addition to seeing the Twelve apostles at sunset (which is the highlight), but you also get to go for a hike, go for a couple of beach walks including the one at Gibson Steps and then finish off at Razorback. Multiple breaks along the way to get lunch and dinner as well as pickup coffee and snacks. Great tour, even better tour guide and bus driver. Hats off to our bus driver, hope you get to drive with him.

It is amazing that you got to see koalas and kangaroos on your tour! It can be so hard to spot them.

Excellent trip if you’re short on time - you see a huge amount of sights in 1 day-good bang for your buck. Craig the tour guide is excellent -so knowledgeable and considerate - highly recommend this tour.

Ottima escursione in giornata, partenza alle 7.30 con ritorno intorno alle 20. La nostra guida Dandy è stata eccezionale, ci ha spiegato tantissime cose ed è sempre stato a disposizione. Ne vale proprio la pena, una giornata indimenticabile lungo la great ocean road. Forse qualche sosta dovrebbe essere un po’ più lunga ma questo non cambia il giudizio finale! Assolutamente da fare !

Great tour. Craig was a great driver and tour guide. Everything was perfectly and uncannily on schedule. Saw some koalas, hiked through the wilderness, viewed some stunning nature, and had a great time in general.
The Twelve Apostles were sort of cool, but kind of underwhelming. In the end, they're just a bunch of big stone columns. Nothing too outstanding. And there weren't even twelve of them. But Loch Ard Gorge was very pretty, which more than made up for it. Getting to walk down to the beach below the gorge was great.
My only complaint was that our lunch break was kind of short. We were given 45 minutes, I believe, which had us rushing a little bit since the restaurants in Apollo Bay had long lines. An hour-long stop for lunch would've been a lot better. But that wasn't a huge deal. Craig is still getting 5 stars from me.

Do all the walks and trails. The views are worth it. Really long day but lots of opportunity to nap between interesting sights and stops. Vicky our driver was very informative and lovely.

I NEVER leave bad reviews and after seeing all of the other reviews I seriously do not know what happened because we had a very different experience.
First, we were picked up over 30 minutes late - all standing outside the Immigration Museum waiting. Our driver told us NOTHING. He had zero energy or information for us. It was literally like he was a hired driver, not a tour guide. We learned more about the Great Ocean Road on another tour we did to Philip Island two days later than we did on this tour. I felt like we were paying to be on a public bus that stopped. Since we started so late, we were rushed at every stop. We barely had time to get lunch. His driving was also extremely poor - I was so car sick, I had to pick up additional medicine at one of the stops in addition to medicine I already had. I honestly do not know his name as I do not think he even told us that - it was seriously that bad.
The only positive of the only trip was how pretty the scenery and different stops were along the way. I’m glad I got to see the Twelve Apostles and the Great Ocean Road but our experience was horrible. I would recommend another company or at least hope you get another driver/guide because the other reviews sound like they have other guides that are much better. The rain forest walk was fine but unnecessary and we never saw any wild koalas like many of the other reviews mention. When I asked him about it he said they do not do that anymore.
We were gone from 8am - 9:30pm and spent 85% of the time on the bus. If you decide to go, take a neck pillow if you have it. To top it off we stopped for dinner on the way back at McDonalds with no local options. I get that some people like McDonalds but it felt like we stopped at a truck stop - dirty, rushed, with no healthy or local options to support. Unfortunately, this day trip was extremely disappointing. We talked to other people on the trip as well and they all expressed feeling the same way. Maybe something happened to the person who was supposed to be our guide and he was a fill in but it was horrible.

You should confirm with the tour company. We had hotel pick up at Langham Hotel. Confirm and be there at least 10 minutes early. It’s a wonderful trip.

They do hotel pick up and drop off.
We had a coach tour. Since you have a larger group you may arrange for a private tour as well. I am not aware of rate for private tours. The tour was amazing. If you go private, spend more time at the 12 Apostles and ship wreck area. It was such an amazing place.
Viator is a major portal for such trips as well.
