I chose this tour based on reviews I had read on this site as well as other sites. I was traveling solo so I definitely wanted a smaller, more intimate group. This was perfect. There were 12 of us on this tour and for 2 days, we had a blast. Our tour guide, Kelly, was an amazing asset because of his knowledge of the history of Australia and his passion for sharing his beautiful country. He even had a playlist ready for the road trip. I loved the fact that we started at the furthest spot away from Melbourne on the Great Ocean Road and worked our way back to Bells Beach and then on to Phillip Island. This tour encompassed all the highlights of a great tour: ocean, hiking, nature watching, scenic drives, must see spots, and a small group where friendships are quickly made. We stayed overnight at a hostel in Bells Beach and that was a highlight. Great walk to the beach to watch the stars, hostel owner is great, and there's even a resident black lab that everyone loves. This tour was definitely a highlight of my trip and worth every penny I spent.

Our guide Daniel T was very dedicated, helpfull and kept us energized through all of the journey so whole family is very thankful to him for making this two-day tour really unforgetable.
Pickup and drop off is well organized (in front of some hotels and in time).
First day we travelled with bigger van (small bus) and in the evening we switched to small van since one part of the group had only one day tour and they returned to Melbourne. We spend the night in an excellent accomodation and on the second day we travelled in a very nice small group.
We've seen a lot of interesting things on this tour and were especially impressed by the nature.

I can not recommend this tour enough! All the stops on both days were awesome and the views were beautiful. Our tour guide Daniel T went above and beyond to make our two days truly memorable. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. A great way to see some iconic Australian sites!

This 2-day tour is highly recommended. Craig is a professional local tour guide. Although the weather was bad, the itinerary was well-managed. It was such a great experience visiting Great Ocean Road, Philip Island and other stops along the coastline on the rainy and windy winter days.

Daniel Turner is a very good tour and funny guide. He is a very entertainment guide and very helpful. Every time we got problems he will always be there to help us. The dinner was quite nice, full of salads, and kangaroo meat. The hostel was cozy and warm. The tour was great!!

This trip is amazing, the tour guide is the best and his name is Daniel Turner 💕. He is very cheering and he is full with information about the trip. We ask so many things about the trip and he have all the answer for it. The accommodation is okay, it is clean and new! What he cook for the dinner is amazing too! love it

I went for a 2 days trip to see Great Ocean Road and Philip Island. Craig - the guide, knows a lot o f interesting facts about Australia. He shows us secret place where we could find wild living koalas. Was a lot to see. Well organized!

I am interested in the tour in October 2019. I have been researching the penguin parade and want to know where the viewing is for this tour. Beach? platform? underground? please provide details as it is important to me to see the penguins very well.

Hello! I am interested in booking the Melbourne to GOR and Phillip Island 2 day tour. It’s unclear to me whether the tour departs on Thursday or Friday. When I attempt to book it one page says departure is Thursday August 8th and then a different page says Friday August 9th. My current travel plans require me to take a tour that departs on Friday August 9th. Can you please clarify your departure date so that I can plan/book accordingly? Thank you!

What is the duration of the second day from 1st activity to the end of activities?

I can’t remember exactly, but from around 8am up until midnight. The penguin island activity ended quite late and then we had to drive back to Melbourne.
