We had a fantastic trip - our driver Chris was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all the areas which we visited and drove through, and he made the trip so memorable. The views were breathtaking, and Chris knew all the best spots to show us. Would definitely recommend that anyone take the trip - it was one to remember!

Booked with Melbourne Australia tours 2 day GOR and grampians your. Lizzie our tour guide, driver, from wild life tours was fantastic.. Very friendly, gentle and so so knowledgeable.. Learnt a lot about history 😃 and native animals.. Lizzie is also very passionate about wildlife. Had a great time on the bus with 2 boys 11 and 3, elderly parents, me and my husband. The tour group of 24 was great bunch... Highly highly recommend.
The night stay at halls gap neds other beds was great too.

We just finished our tour from Adelaide to Melbourne with a 1 night stop over at the Grampians. The tour was great it was a wonderful experience. Our driver Guy was awesome he was very informative and explained all the sights and history of Australia really well. Highly recommend.

I did a 2-day tour last week from Adelaide to Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road and Grampians with Autopia Tours. It was a great experience and offered a fantastic cross-section of a beautiful part of Australia in the states of South Australia and Victoria. Our tour guide, Guy, was excellent with our bus full of 22 tourists. Bathroom breaks were thoughtfully offered periodically and the sights along the way were amazing. The weather cooperated throughout the two-day tour and offered fantastic views of the Grampians and sites along the Great Ocean Road, including the famous Twelve Apostles. Highly recommended!

I went with a couple of friends from Adelaide to Melbourne where we did among other things the Grampians and Great Ocean Road. I loved everything about this trip! The places we visited were amazing, the weather was good and our tour guide Guy was amazing. He made sure everyone was comfortable and he really made this trip magical with his positivity, friendliness and stories. I would recommend this trip to everyone, everything about this trip over exceeded my expectations!

Loved everything about this tour. The scenery was beautiful. It was great having Darren as our guide. He had a lot of information and fun history to share. It was amazing having a guide that was so passionate and excited about showing us Australia.

We all loved this tour! Had a great guide, he had some great info and stories. Enjoyed every bit of it! The scenery was outstanding! Did the coast, the falls, Grampians, wild kangaroos by our overnight spot, it was so enjoyable. Every single thing about this was fantastic! Pack good hiking shoes that hike back up from the falls is a beast! LOVED it!!! There were couples, families, singles - everyone felt welcomed and ended up friends. Great tour company!

We'd always heard about the southern Australian coast, so we booked the 2 day tour which included Grampians to get from Melbourne to Adelaide. The trip was amazing. Our guide for the first day+½ was Bones. He's wonderfully friendly and knowledgable and promoted an esprit de corp and fun amongst his passengers. We stopped to see more sights than we knew existed. The happy surprise was Grampians. We'd not heard of the park and so were blown away with the viewpoints (high & low) of canyons and waterfalls. We were handed off to Darren for the afternoon leg to Adelaide. He found points of interest along the flat farmland and sent around his beautiful photo brochure to fill in the fill in the uninteresting times. Heed Autopias tip to wear walking shoes if you mean to climb to all the attractions.

We love surprising people and Grampians is definitely one of the most underrated and less known destinations in Victoria. Which is good because it means you don't get the same tourist crowds as on the Great Ocean Road or Phillip Island.

What is the luggage restrictions (size and weight). For those dropping off at Adelaide, understandably we will have more than just an overnight bag.

Hi, I am looking to book this trip on 28/9. Can you tell me something about the accommodations? Is this a private room? I am traveling alone and do not want to share. Also, what time is the return to Melbourne?

They are not private rooms. You stay as a group at a travel hostel. It is very comfortable and in the middle of the national park. Many of the travelers were traveling alone. The bus is not fancy but still comfortable and affordable. Our final destination was Adelaide, the others went back to Melbourne.
1. Does the "moderate amount of walking" involve any climbing and if yes, how steep? would we need hiking boots or would good walking shoes suffice?
2. What kind of overnight accommodation would be in the Grampians?
3. Do you have a list of hotels in Adelaide where you would make a drop-off after the tour?

1. Good walking shoes are sufficient. It does include steep hiking. Some were not in physical shape or had injuries and they skipped the hike portion for an easier route. So, to enjoy fully - yes steep hiking. But you can skip it if you feel it is too much.
2. Group travelers hostel dedicated to your traveling group. SO shared accommodations but only with your direct group. We found it comfortable and enjoyable.
3. They drop off at the bus station (ask them they can tell you which one it was.) Walking distance to a nearby hostel or the bus stops to others. We walked to ours which was nearby.
