I did the "Two Day Great Ocean Road – Private Multi-Day Tour" with Adam as my host. It was spectacular. Here are the reasons why this was an outstanding experience:
1. I contacted Localing a few months before my first visit to Australia to tell them what I was interested in. They recommended a tour, but then fully customized it to my interests and tastes (photography, birds and vegetarian food). Their trip planning staff is very prompt with replies and clearly experienced in providing people with extra information to make good decisions about their tour.
2. I want to give a huge shout-out to Adam; he was completely engaged the full two days. He was an incredibly safe driver! He brought his camera, so that we could do activities together, and while he was already very well-versed in local birds, he brought extra books and resources for me, so that I could ID what I saw when we got back in our vehicle.
3. Adam knew so many awesome spots off the beaten path. It is clear that on a one-day tour we would never have had time for all these adventures, but they were so memorable (for example, going to see a waterfall in the rainforest). On the morning of the second day, Adam even picked me up at 7:30am so that we could explore the shoreline near Apollo Bay at low tide!
There are so many more positive things that I could say, but in summary, I would recommend that anyone who wants to make the most of a tour experience engage with Localing.

We had a great city of Melbourne tour with Anna . She was very friendly and catered to our needs.
The next 2 days were simply the best part of our vacation! We had Josh for both days and he was the best tour guide one could ask for ! He was so personable, knowledgeable and got along so well with each one of my family members . I would highly recommend him and wish we can have him again if we visit Melbourne in the future ! Thanks so much Localing!

Joshua, our was tremendous. He went out of his way to make our 4 days with him a pleasure. He took us the first day to the penguin parade, then a three day trip up the ocean road tour. He did everything he could to make it great. Thank you Joshua for all you did for us. Ron, Helen and Carol.

Marlene made our three day adventure on the Great Ocean Road the most wonderful experience. She is very knowledgeable about the beautiful important and usual stops along the way but she also researched ideas to best suit our interests (small wine, cheese and art stops!) The journey was beautiful and informative. Her driving skills were amazing particularly with all the narrow country roads and construction. The four of us are so appreciative of Marlene's patience and good humor. (Husband, wife and two "children" in their 20s. None of the "who was with you" apply"

Joshua was a great guide. His knowledge and enthusiasm elevated the entire tour experience. The walk in the rainforest was breathtaking. It is a magical place. We were overwhelmed by the beauty and majesty of the ancient trees. That being said, who can ignore the unique experience of visiting with koalas - the most adorable and beloved animal. That was part of the Great Ocean tour and another outstanding experience.

We loved traveling with Adam. He is our favorite tour guide ever. The whole family enjoyed his company, and he made the road trip along the Great Ocean Road an exciting and comfortable journey.
We also explored the penguins on Philiip Island. We highly recommend Adam for family adventures!

The trip was out of this world, but our guides, Jeremy and Michael made it extra special. They were terrific and so knowledgeable of the area. We stopped at a lovely cafe on the way and had the most delicious scones and coffee and then walked over to the lighthouse in the area and took in the incredible view. The coast is gorgeous. Taking in the Apostles was so worth it. Mother Nature is amazing. Also, went to an animal reserve and fed emus, kangaroos, wallabees. Had a chance to pet some of them as well. Stopped for lunch in a coastal community and had a chance to enjoy the company of our wonderful guides. They were the best!!! Thank you Jeremy and Michael.

My sister and I had a fantastic day on our private Great Ocean Road tour. Our guide Richard picked us up on time from our hotel and we set out for a truly great day. We discussed what we would be doing for the day and left the city for our adventure. We saw multiple sites along the way and made several stops to take in the breathtaking scenery along The Great Ocean Road. We spotted Kangaroos along the way and were fortunate enough to spot a Koala. Richard knew all the best spots to look for them. We had a stop for a coffee mid morning and walked up to view the lighthouse. We took a beautiful walk through the rainforest
Following a delicious fresh seafood lunch
eaten overlooking the bay from which the fish were caught! The stop at the Twelve Apostles was stunning. Richards knowledgable commentary was fabulous. We made more stops along the way and the day sadly was over before we knew it.
My sister and I highly recommend this tour. Our day with Richard was a highlight of our visit to Melbourne.
