The tour guide did not show up and there were others who were waiting at the same time and place, so it was very disappointing for all us. Now I'm having a hard time getting a refund from Viator (owned by Trip Advisor). Do not book this tour.

Waited for half an hour but they never showed up. Would recommend if you decide to book using a third party so you can get a refund.

We waited nearly 30 minutes as did another couple but total no show. The number doesn’t let phone calls through email and Facebook was no response either still waiting for money to be refunded!!!

We also visited for a booking made for the 22nd April and there was no one there. After a fruitless 20 minute call to the booking agent, ended up pounds out of pocket and waiting for a refund on the price paid for the tour. Hopefully some compensation for the cost of the call and the wasted journey and parking which were also made.

We got there early and waited for 15 minutes after the time it was suppose to start and no one ever showed up.
We tried calling the number a few times and it just kept ringing and going to voicemail.

I highly recommend this fascinating, fun and unique history tour, for both visitors and residents of Auckland. I did it on Halloween night which naturally only added to the spookiness! It was particularly eerie being in Albert Park at night with just our solitary small group for company - for some reason you can really feel the past come alive there.
Luke was our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, taking us to various unassuming spots around the CBD that are otherwise easily overlooked, and sharing fascinating stories and gruesome details. There’s an element of ‘tall tales’ embellishment, to be taken with a grain of salt as it’s all fact-based and intended in good ‘spirits’ (haha) 😉 I’m looking forward to doing their cemetery tour next.

As someone who loves crime history, I had high expectations of this experience. I was not disappointed. We met our tour guide Luke in the designated meeting spot. He was friendly, outgoing and very informative. We had an awesome evening walking through the city and learning about it’s history. Luke was very knowledgeable and made it a wonderful experience for us. Thanks heaps :)

This was the most amazing cemetery experience I have ever had, had been wanting to do this ghost tour for a long time and was very lucky to win a competition to go.
The tour guides were excellent, very friendly & extremely well educated on the history of the cemetery and ancient maori culture.
The location was such a beautiful place and the night of course added a large element of excitement and spookiness.
I would highly recommend this to anybody,and will definitely be looking to try out some of the other tours on offer in the future.

TOUR: For those who like creepy history, like me, this tour is for you. It's more of a murder tour than ghost tour. Our two guides were friendly and approachable! My girlfriend and I were the only people on the tour (Friday in July). The tour could benefit by showing pictures of the murderers, victims, and historical setting. A-
CUSTOMER SERVICE: I thought the tour met inside the Britomart station, but the meeting location is actually outside on one of the corners. So, my girlfriend and I missed our Wednesday tour. However, they rescheduled us for a Friday night at no extra charge. A+
Tourist activities tend to occur during the day; so, for those looking for something nocturnal, I recommend this tour.

I went on this tour last night with my hubby and 2 teenage girls and we all loved it. We've lived in Auckland for 8 years and have walked past many of the sites on this tour, ignorant of their stories. Our guide was amazing. He is professional, funny, likeable and very knowledgeable with his history. It was so entertaining and interesting. We were sad when it ended and could have stayed all night!! Definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about Aucklands culture and history. I will be booking the next tour very soon and taking my freinds on this tour. Thanks so much guys. See you again soon 👻
