We had a fabulous trip of Auckland with Michael. He was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Michael made sure we went to the best places with amazing views. He sent us to the best shop for meat pies. Yummy! I highly recommend this tour with Michael!

A wonderful way to get a taste of Auckland. Highly recommend for your first day in the city as it will give you some great ideas of places to visit. Very much enjoyed the stops we did make. Highlight, though, was Michael our guide, who shared some very interesting stories and gave great background on the many areas we drove through.

We covered a lot of ground in this half day Auckland city sightseeing tour and honestly this was what we were looking for. Mikey was our lead tour guide and he did a superb job being our guide throughout, taking as around to see as much of Auckland as possible by driving in just half a day. Short on time and only have half a day to see as much of Auckland as possible? You will want to definitely take this tour! - Nolan

Fabulous tour and tour guide (Michael)! Great city overview, interesting commentary, personal attention. His background and knowledge of the various parts of the city really enhanced the experience. One of the better tours and guides we've had in our travels!

I have travelled extensively and usually take a tour on arrival to orient myself to the new surroundings. By a huge margin this was the best ever. Very informative, excellent routing, a relaxing pace with no rushing, clean vehicle and very respectful of differing cultures. Owner operated. Highly recommended

Michael is so knowledgeable about Auckland and gave a very thorough tour with great photo opportunities. Highly recommend taking at the start of your holiday so you can best choose your adventures and sightseeing

We had the best tour. Michael was a great commentator and tour guide. He made this tour amazing. He just knows so much about everything in the area.

My husband and I are getting off a cruise liner on the 8th April in Auckland and would like to book the half day Auckland City Sightseeing Tour for the morning. We were wondering where the pick-up location would be and what time? Thank you.

Yes, lots of photo opportunities. Our favourite was the one under the bridge looking across the water at the city. Because Mike knows the area really well and has done the tour many times, he knows exactly where to go and he gives you plenty of time to take your pics.

Our Caribbean ship will be in Auckland port for one day . Can we get picked up at the port ?? If not can anyone suggest how to get to city central to join a tour ??

He picked up his people at the dock and then made a special trip to pick us up at the Luggage Hotel nearby. He dropped us off at the Maritime Museum which is close by and well worth your time. We did the morning tour and the Maritime Museum and still had time to make our late afternoon flight back to Kansas City.

This sounds like what I'm looking for on my first day. Is a lot of walking required to enjoy the tour? I had knee surgery earlier this year so no longer can walk long distances, or for long periods of time, and stairs can be prohibitive sometimes, too. Not how I wanted to make the visit :( but I still want to make the most of my trip! Any suggestions?

No, there is not much walking. Actually they can even take you up to the volcano by van.

You will need to contact Michael through Viator to see if he can arrange a tour for you at the requested times. I am almost sure if he is available he would try to meet your request.
