Day trip, small group, fantastic weather, guide Ale was informative and happy and kept us entertained and made sure we were comfortable and aware what was happening the whole time. Hobbiton is a wonderful experience and Rotorua thermals interesting to see. Also had a drive through some of Rotorua’s sites. Pick up and drop off was well organised.

Everything was beyond our expecations. Our friends told use to forget North Island. They were thin minded or relying on otbers for their judgment. The Cheeky Kiwi tour was soo good.

The excursion was very well organised and relaxed to fabulous locations .

Geoff (sp?) was a great guide. Full of little tidbits of information and willing to answer any questions. Would look up information if didn't know as well. Very informative as to the schedule and what was coming up, where to meet, etc. Great communication before and after the tour. Would definitely travel with Cheeky Kiwi again.

Honestly such a great tour, I’ve never been on one before but definitely a great one to start with. Jeff was a great guide and as a first time solo traveler i felt very taken care of.

Although the journey was longer than we imagined, Hobbiton and Rotorua were worth the effort. Cam and the team had everything well organised, from collection, transport to the sites and delivery back.
Apart from the sites, we also saw 3 kiwis - an unexpected bonus.
The mini-bus was comfortable enough, and Cam's chat illuminating and interesting.
There may be other options to do much the same, but Cheeky Kiwi Travel fulfilled all our expectations and would happily recommend to others
