Austin Sea Kayak tours are #flippingawesome!
Nathan was our guide and he was great. Super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and FUN! Our BBQ Lunch was absolutely delicious, homemade, and they were so wonderful with allergy restrictions. 10/10 would recommend, no matter who your guide is, but Nathan made the whole experience even better!

Nathan was an excellent tour guide and kayaking instructor. We had a great experience kayaking to Brown's Island and he made a very tasty lunch. It took 45 minutes to get to the island and an hour and 45 minutes to get back because of the strong wind. He was very helpful in making sure everyone got back safe. Make sure to wear sunscreen!

Tom was very supportive, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our needs. Even though the weather made us cut short our trip, the experience was well worth the cost.

Top class guide - bonded with our 17-year old and made sure us oldies got over and back safely. Challenging trip but worth it. They even grilled up a steak on the island with a little portable cookeer

This is a must do experience. My second time and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The company does everything right to make sure this trip is about you. From beginning to end. Well organised, safety conscious, friendly, helpful and overall top notch team. So easy and effortless. On top of this you have one of the best Auckland experiences. We had such a good time on this tour! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Kayaking to such an incredible place was a great challenge and felt really special. Rangitoto itself is beautiful. We got to explore it on our walk to the summit and the BBQ was delicious. Eric and Tom were amazing! They made everything run so smoothly and knew so much about the wildlife and natural features. All equipment provided (including fleeces, waterproofs, the works!). Overall definitely great value for money and an unforgettable experience.

What a fabulous day on the water and on the island. Our guide Eric got us off to a great start with everything we needed to know, and gave us lots of very interesting information when we were on the island. The paddling and the island hike were spectacular and there was time for a gorgeous swim. And then there was the delicious barbecue lunch!! Tour mates were lots of fun too. All in all, a truly memorable day. Thanks Eric☺️

I went on a half day tour expecting an easy short kayak and hike. What I got was a challenging long kayak trip and thankfully casual hike. I also didn't realise the lunch would be so good, BBQ steaks, and a history lesson on the island and local area. I also appreciate that, for no extra charge, I was picked up nearer the city where I was staying and dropped back afterwards. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a challenge of endurance on the water and a chill atmosphere from the guide on both sea and hike.
