We arrived in the mid afternoon but couldn’t do a tour because they just weren’t running them… for no apparent reason. A tour was meant to run at 4:20 but for some reason the multitude of staff there said there were no more tours for the day. Not very welcoming or accomodating for overseas visitors who have limited windows in which to visit. Very unhelpful. Seems we saved ourselves a couple of hundred dollars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Weta Workshop Unleashed. Alice our guide was hilarious, entertaining , very informative & a delight to have guide us through 1 1/2 hours of fascinating insights into their processes & results. Extremely inspiring for all creatives! Well worth the time & $$ !!

It was amazing! Kais is an entertaining, handsome, funny tour guide and deserves a pay rise! So much to see in the 90 minutes, would love to come back and do it again.

Matty was a great guide and the interactive tour was so interesting I never wanted it to end! If we did nothing else in New Zealand this would have been worth the whole trip!

The tour was amazing. Harri made the tour enjoyable with her knowledge and her humour. The sets and all the different pieces/props were incredible. Was great to see how everything is done behind the scene. Would really love to see this in Australia and would love to see Weta engage in more movie projects. Crazy to think my wife and i only stumbled in this location by chance and enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the tour. We were accompanied by a great tour guide, but could explore the different rooms by ourselves. We got very interesting insights into movie-making. Time went by far too fast. There is so much to discover in the different rooms. I would have liked to have more time. I can highly recommend the tour.
