It was magnificent to encounter the snow-capped mountains close up and land on the glacier. It was breathtaking, and we are filled with gratitude for having had this experience. All staff were fabulous and added to the day's experience.

We had a private tour of Milford Sound, my husband and I, and we made both an alpine and a glacier landing….both nothing short of spectacular! Pristine snow. Not a footprint in sight. Incredible. René was an extraordinary heli pilot, and a delightful person to be with. I never felt nervous, felt relaxed from the moment we lifted off the pad and I felt safe the entire time in his competent hands. It was my husband’s birthday so René surprised us by popping bottle of champagne as we walked in the snow on one of the landings to celebrate. The mountains were majestic and the tour was one of the most exquisitely beautiful and amazing experiences we’ve ever had.

We were originally scheduled for the Milford Sound but the weather did not cooperate. Instead, we had a wonderful tour of several glaciers, lakes and endless mountains. Stopping on the glacier and by a pristine lake was a treat. All was very well done.

A memory of a lifetime!! Over The Top Helicopter provided an extraordinary experience to fly over the Southern Alps and land on a glacier. It was truly amazing with spectacular views. Our pilot, Dave, also flew through Milford Sound and provided many interesting facts. The entire experience was wonderful because of the professional staff and especially Dave!

The absolute best in the business and a once in a lifetime experience. We were visiting Queenstown on Holiday and after being greeted at the door by our favorite Over the Top employee (Honey Boy) we knew this was going to be awesome. We felt safe the entire flight and Dave was more than amazing at explaining the entire process as well as fun tidbits along the way. He is extremely knowledgeable and a complete gentleman when it came to the entire process. Would recommend to anybody in a heart beat and thank you all again!

Thank you to the amazing team at over the top helicopters for making my birthday so extra special, by making this trip happen. Such an incredible experience that we will not forget. It’s not every birthday that you get to have a glass of bubbles on top of a snowy mountain. Thanks so much.

Wow what an experience!! It was the absolute highlight of our trip. We landed on the remarkables and there’s just nothing else like it. We have been in helicopters before but this was the best experience ever. Michael our pilot made the experience so memorable. He was super knowledgeable and made even some of the nervous flyers relaxed. Katie in the office was so amazing and friendly and managed our special request. The whole company are so professional and we just can’t wait to book again.
