I cannot recommend this group enough! We did 3 excursions over 3 days and they were amazing!! Sergio communicated extremely well with me. The tour guides were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! These excursions made our trip so memorable.

First of all I want to give a big shout out to Rudy. He hooked us up with 2 trips which were on point. The first was a chartered fishing trip for tuna and rooster fish. The views were impressive and the fishing was good. Needless to say the captain and the mate were attentive, fished hard, and gave us one hell of a fishing experience. A+ to all parties there. The second adventure was one with ATVs. This was a comprehensive tour including scenic views, beaches, animals, and lunch at a wonderful restaurant with special views. (The food was amazing) If you are looking for either one of these types of excursions, and I recommend you do, then Rudy is your man. He is pleasant, honest, and a pleasure to be around. Hats off to him and the parties involved.

100% book all your tours with Rudy from "Alex on the Beach" tours. Rudy signed us up for an ATV excursion, as well as horseback riding. The ATV tour was on my birthday. We stopped at numerous locations for beers and food. Rudy showed us the local towns and areas we could not see from the seclusion of the resort. He delivered big time! The horseback riding was also perfect for my wife and I. He took us out at sunset to a few beaches, and we were able to ride horses on secluded beaches as the sun went into the ocean. Absolutely fantastic!!! Rudy took pictures for us, and even made a video for me later that week. I gained not just a trusted go-to for any future tours, but I gained a friend. I HIGHLY recommend Rudy from Alex on the Beach!!! Thanks again Rudy!!!!!

This is definitely a must do and worth every penny. I had never driven an ATV but our guide showed me how and made sure I knew exactly what to do during the whole trip. We got to go to different beaches, have drinks at a local bar and see views that you wouldn't be able to see any other way. Our guide was Roberto, a very chill guy and he was a lot of fun to hang out with for the day.

We booked the 3 hour ATV tour through Alex on the Beach with John Wayne, the very nice vendor on the Riu Palace beach. This tour took us through what they call Mountains and Rivers. Gabriel was our guide and was careful to ensure we knew how to safely drive the ATVs. We had both driven before, but not a lot. This was a private tour for two of us and was less expensive and longer than the ones offered through the hotel lobby vendors.
We drove along the highway for a short while, then onto trails and into the river bed, where water still remained from the rainy season. The water was relatively deep but the ATVs had no trouble handling it. After a brief stop in the small town of Sardinal to have a drink of water and stretch our legs, we returned by way of the 'mountains' and saw some very nice views. The tour was actually just over 2.5 hours but this was long enough anyway! A helmet is mandatory and goggles are recommended as it was quite dusty. My only negative: Gabriel had a cooler but no ice on his ATV, so it was not really a great way to keep our water bottles cold. Not a big deal; we really enjoyed the trip.

Prior to arriving in Costa Rica, reached out to Alex on the Beach through their website. Was responded to quickly by Sergio who provided some options and said he would be at the RIU Guanacaste and could talk more.
Once there, this group is easy to find and provide lots of information with no pressure.
Decided to do 4.5 hour ATV with Canopy Trail zip lining. ATV thru local town and back woods area to a small waterfall that provided for a nice cool down with howler monkeys in the trees above.
Also booked jet ski tour which may have been the highlight. Their subcontractor was going to cancel it due to rough waters however we said we have been in rougher waters and would not complain. Went to a quiet beach with white face monkeys and coati. Stopped for some pictures on the ocean with sunset in background.
We were a family of 4 and they kept our excursions private.
Do not hesitate to book with this company.
