An absolutely stunning way to spend a couple of hours. The boat was only about 2/3 full so there was plenty of room, our guide was fantastic (enthusiastic and knowledgeable) and the scenery is breathtaking. We saw lots of different birds and one crocodile- rare in the wet season - right at the end of the trip. Highly recommended!!

Lovely sunset cruise on Yellow Water - although we left from Home Billabong due to the high water level.
Our guide was Chiso, who explained about the flora and fauna. We saw some big crocodiles.
It was very peaceful and beautiful cruising the billabong and the river.

An amazing experience, friendly and informative tour guide. The flexibility of the guide to accommodate my wheelchair by swapping boats and not making a fuss.

My partner and I did the sunset cruise on a hot steamy evening last week. Our tour guide Ella was amazing with her prolific knowledge of indigenous culture, bird life and crocodile spotting abilities. We were amazed by the abundance of wildlife along the billabong and river banks, particularly the number of bird species. We saw plenty of crocodiles and a late thunderstorm and barge adventure made the whole experience very exciting and enjoyable. Would recommend it as must do experience while in Kakuda.

A great short cruise with a lot on show. Crocodiles put on a real show catching and eating huge barramundi. We saw a sea eagle, plenty of kites, black ibises, magpie geese and whistling ducks. Also lots of egrets and cormorants. A darter. Tiny Kingfishers, finches. A real highlight was spotting a family of brolgas. We even saw a jabiru. A bird fancier’s dream.

We drive down ourselves . It takes around 45 mins. Im sure the guide will take less as they knpw the rides better. You need to ring them yourself orcheck your email where you had it confirmed. Our time was on our email for starting times to be there.
