SEA PLANE WAS EXCELLENT…however - detailed below is the email that I sent to the company of which after several follow up emails still has no response from the manager/supervisor.
A little feedback from our trip out to Whitehaven Beach this week (Thursday 6/10). I haven’t put this onto trip advisor but I am more than ready to, as I believe customer service is the key to your business.
On check in, we were asked names, no initial hi from one of the people checking us in, just “names”.
We boarded the vessel headed out to WB during the trip out there 2 of your employees sat in the middle of the indoor area on benches and spent a large amount of that trip on their mobile phones. Not a good look.
We arrived at Whitehaven boarded the sea plane for our flight - exceptional.
Lunch however was different, we were almost at the end of the line, which is not a problem. However when we arrived for lunch there was not enough food left - rolls gone, I had half a roll, salad was empty except for cabbage and spinach leaves, meat was fine but I was not the end of the line.
When we reached the knives and forks there was one fork left, which meant we either had to share or one of us use our hands to eat, which is what I did l, but were told that we could use two knives (?!).
When we returned to the boat to leave, we were going to buy a beer for the trip home, of which one of the crew told us it was “on us” for “no forks”.
Whilst lying on the beach I could hear two employees talking under the shade cloth and the profanities and what they were talking about was general chatter. However I draw a line when I can hear “the reasons that you come to holiday in Australia is to f*** Australian women”. As a woman I find this utterly disgusting. Conversations are fine but when you are wearing your company’s logo, that’s a different story.
When you pay a large sum of money (our most expensive day tour of a three week break) to take part in a day trip you have expectations.
As a paying customer, I expect to be greeted with enthusiasm. I expect to not see employees on their phones, I expect that there is enough food to feed the entire tour group and enough cutlery for each person to have to eat their meal with. I expect to not hear about the reasons your workers travel with such disregard to females. Maybe I have high expectations but you should to.
If you’ve made it to the end of this review, it has taken me 10 days to share this, giving the company ample time to respond. Customer service is appalling!

Loved every aspect of this tour. Our pilot Nick was fantastic and made my first helicopter ride very comfortable and enjoyable. This tour was definately the pick of the bunch as allowed us to see heart reef, hill inlet and land on whitehaven beach. We chose to add on the seafood platter and bottle of champagne both of which I can highly recommend.

The staff at GSL were simply amazing, friendly and went the extra mile to make our tour special. Shout-out to Jen who took us to and from the airport and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and silver service.
The heli tour in a word: Unforgettable!
A beautiful scenic, picturesque view of the Great Barrier Reef topped off by a beach landing on Whitehaven was like a scene from a movie. Rosie and Jack, the pilots, were a terrific guide and made our tour fun and exciting.
I can't recommend GSL enough. Thank you for this unforgettable experience and making this tour the highlight of our trip and year.

INCREDIBLE tour! One of the best tours in my life. Cannot recommend GSL aviation enough. We were hesitant about how much it was at first but every single dollar is worth it. Our pilot Cam was so professional and a great pilot. We flew to Whitehaven beach first and had the whole beach to ourselves in the morning. We had a bottle of champagne and enjoyed the beach. We then flew out to the reef and it was simply amazing. The reef is beautiful from above and it was amazing to view from the helicopter. We also saw views of the surrounding islands and back over Airlie beach. I will always be in awe of this trip.

Everything was Amazing, from start to finish. We were so well looked after. Steve and Trent were awesome guides and great pilots.
We started with a flight to Hardy Reef, then back to Whitehaven Beach for la 3 course unch, drinks and a swim.
If you do one thing here, do this tour. It has the best of everything.
Tip, check what times tours are leaving. Try and choose a day that goes to Hardy Reef first. I couldn't imagine having a later tour and starting with lunch then having to go and snorkel on such a full belly. I would have sunk.
My hubby's tip for lunch. Ask for 2 beers. He drink his down so fast, cos he was thirsty and would have loved a 2nd beer with his lunch.
Take water with you. There's no water out on the Reef.

Did the Panorama Tour in December and what an amazing experience it was!! Definitely the highlight of our trip!! Our tour guide Travis and Pilot Damian were absolutely great and did an amazing job!! The drink before the flight was a great touch and loved the location!! 3 course meal at Whitehaven beach with wine was like a dream!! Loved the beach and reef landing!! Snorkeling equipment was good too unlike some of the other tours we have recently done. Thanks Travis and Damian for a wonderful tour!! We cannot recommend this trip enough!!! Cannot wait to do this again!

My husband and I absolutely loved every second of this experience. We saw the heart reef, landed on Whitehaven and were lucky enough to see some whales! We had Dave as our pilot and he was fantastic, made us feel comfortable, was super friendly and informative. Would recommend this trip highly to anyone! Thank you :)

Ive been fortunate to have been on a few flights with GSL. Every flight memorable in the most positive of ways. The pilots are awesome. Heaps of local knowledge and just simply top blokes. Special mention to Dave. You can tell he loves his job! Full of great info and seems as excited as me to be flying every time. Highly recommend.
