Nearly every aspect of this tour from booking to the hugs we got at the end from our wonderful guide Nikki was exceptional. Not only has she lived here her whole life and has a keen interest in Flora and fauna, but she was able to see and point out things that none of us could have seen. Her excitement was palpable and her pride in her home obvious. The four of us tried to think of something that was not top-notch and the best we could do was that the seats in the sprinter van could have been more comfortable. Nevertheless it was a wonderful day and Nikki made it even more so.

Nikki is for sure a "gem" and her local knowledge of the island fauna and flora is simply incredible!
We have noted the feedback about or vehicle. Unfortunately in Australia we do not have anything better than a brand new Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 to do this kind of job.
We did tried with other brands before but Mercedes is the only vehicle who can offer a good confort and space and to make the confort even better we are taking only 8 passengers instead so everyone can seat near the window and have a bit more personal space.
We have also personalised our vehicle with a permanent fridge on a slide for the food and drinks offered on tour and an extra luggage space for the luggages of our passengers.

This was a fantastic day. Our guide Nikki was a fountain of information about the Island and the animals. We had a lovely lunch and she could not have taken better care of us. A day which will stay in our memories.

The right experience to visit a magnificent island in one day. Luca is a competent and experienced Guide and, at the same time, a fantastic host who makes you feel like family throughout the excursion. Highly recommended.

A great day touring parts of Kangaroo Island thanks to our excellent guide Nikki. Her passion and knowledge of KI was very evident. Being in a small group, just 4 of us plus Nikki, meant a more personalised tour. We had a great bbq lunch cooked by Nikki. I would certainly recommend Small Group KI Touring.

Nikki is the most incredible tour guide I’ve ever had; she is immensely knowledgeable and passionate and an all-round incredible human being. We saw so much wildlife on this tour and had such an amazing time. Nikki gives you an authentic experience of Kangaroo Island and knowledge of the wildlife. This was the most awe-inspiring trip I’ve had and made me fall in love with Australia even more. Thank you, Nikki, for the most perfect experience of Kangaroo Island. You won’t get a better tour!

Luca was the perfect Guide for this experience around the island. With him you can admire sea lions, sea lions, kangaroos and koalas as well as beautiful landscapes.
Excellent breakfast and lunch served.

Luca welcomed us smiling and punctual at the airport. His van4x4 appeared immediately comfortable and spotless and as soon as we fastened our seatbelts (constant recommendation by Luca) he began to illustrate the peculiarities of the flora and fauna of the island slowing down or stopping when we saw some prominent animals. The tour is really complete you will see the sea lions, peaceful in their natural habitat and then the seals in a wonderful, but more inaccessible area. Then the remarkable, imposing granite formations of rare beauty on the sea, between the various stops we visited and photographed fantastic bays, then the tour ended in the protected area where really kangaroos and koalas live in freedom. If you are with Luca forget to pet a kangaroo or wake up a koala, as a good guide perfectly integrated in the place respects and loves animals for what they are / living beings deserving of respect m. In short, the tour is instructive, allows you to take (or be taken by Luca) photos with fantastic views, to listen to his passionate explanations to relax and have fun. Last but not least I mention the two stops: the first in a beautiful bay with even coffee with mocha and biscuits and the second with a simple but excellent barbecue with chicken, Greek salad, grilled bread and local wine. So what more could you want? Getting help to plan the next day, and even in this case Luca did not back down and activating his contacts on the island allowed us to spend the second day in relaxation, curiosity and attention to the many things to see and taste in kangaroo island
