Avoid at all costs.....hold onto your money and do your own self guided walking tour.....guide was late in arriving outside(not inside as advertised) Grand Hotel....he wanted to conduct the tour in German, although I had booked an English speaking tour....the other 2 participants understood German.... anyway the guide didn't seem terribly fluent in either ...a complete waste of time...I couldn't understand a word of his heavily accented English.....and we only walked one street...I literally saw or learnt nothing.....so as I mentioned earlier....hold onto your money and do your own walking tour.

Brno seems to be industrial city. Don't be mistaken. It has gorgeous old town. Recommend walking tour using your cell phone. One of the cities that you can scan QR code and enjoy guided tour. Beautiful architecture, fascinating history and of course, farmers market

Unfortunately the guide was not very sociable or friendly and I had hardly any opportunity to ask questions.

With perfect weather and a beautiful historic city, we were looking forward to the tour. The guide clearly had an exceptional amount of knowledge, but was not really able to communicate this. His English was poor and he was often seeking for words. Worse was that interaction with the guide was difficult, making the tour a rather endless one-way conversation.

Vi opplevde turen som så dårlig at vi måtte avbryte etter 25 minutter. Guiden kunne ikke engelsk og hans måte å guide på var fullstendig dårlig.
Vi har nå prøvd å få kontakt med ansvarlig Gray Line i Brno og i USA for å klage og kreve tilbakemelding av pengene.
E-posten til Brno fungerer ikke at hovedkontoret svarer ikke.
Jeg tenker at Tripadvisor burde suspendere denne tjenesten fra sine oversikter over hva man kan gjøre.

Our guide Eliska, who has lived her entire life in Brno, was very knowledgable about the history and architecture of the city. This was a great experience for us at the beginning of our trip to get us oriented and help us find some places we wanted to come back to visit or tour on our own. We are very glad we did this tour!
I do wish that Gray Line Prague would add contact information to Walking Tour description and to their confirmation email. I had to contact them to request a change in tour time, and it was very difficult to get ahold of them.

For our day-trip (from Vienna) we booked the afternoon-tour less than 24hrs. in advance and got it.
Being off-off season, we were the only guest an enjoyed a private tour of old town. Therefore, we were able to step in at places like the lobbies of the Grandezza and Barcélo – experiencing the mixing of history and contemporary. – The rooftop at the Lipà was not open, we’ll do it next time.
Lots of nice details an visual surprises – interesting what happened to Brno in the past 30 years. Even on a gray winter day, the city offers good vibes.
Spending part of the day with a “private tour” – for us turned out a great idea!

Ein geführter Rundgang durch die Brünner Altstadt ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, jedoch bekamen wir nur relativ wenig tiefergehende Informationen. Die ältere Dame, die uns führte, konnte nur wenige unserer Fragen beantworten.

Es ist ein absolutes Erlebnis in Brünn durch die Stadt zu schlendern, super restaurierte Häuser, fast alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen, aber auch mit der Straßenbahn ist man überall schnell vor Ort. Abends ist immer etwas los, sehr gute Restaurants für jeden Geschmack und das für sehr günstiges Geld.
