我们是选择集中营和盐矿的行程。接待员都很活泼亲切，接驳也很方便，是这两个点导览的好选择。不过参观完后的集合方式还可以再改进，有点不清楚

Once again we booked our guided tour through Viator and once again they came up trumps. We were picked up in Krakow old tow and on the road for around 30 minutes.
Upon reaching the mine a short walk to start our tour. Our guide, Simon was extremely knowledgeable, funny and very interactive with our group.
It all starts by descending 64m via a wooden staircase down the old shaft, five steps per metre. Another history lesson and fantastic carvings with a very reasonably priced cafe at the end, where you are now at a depth of 135 metres. The tour of the mine is around 3 hours with two breaks.
Not to be missed

The salt mines itself was great and definitely worth a trip. But this trip cost nearly £100 and we were only in the salt mines 1.5 hours. We were then left waiting in the freezing cold for 1 hour for our coach pick up. The tour company said this was due to the tour guide at the salt mines cutting our tour time short by 1 hour (unbeknown to us). It then took 1 hour to get back in heavy traffic.
Yes the salt mines was good and I’m glad we did it, was it worth nearly £100 no it wasn’t. I think Auschwitz would have possibly been better value. At least half of our trip did not get the coach back and ordered taxis.
If you book a trip ask the host what time the coach picks you up, as if you’re early you can go for a drink. It’s not good when you’re on a short break to be left just hanging round for an hour!
Our salt mines guide didn’t show us the museum which I understand should have been part of the tour.
I raised all this with the tour company who blamed the salt mines. A sorry would have been a start!

Thank you for choosing Discover Cracow! We're sorry for this situation. Normally, visiting the salt mine lasts 2.5 hours, but on the day of your trip the duration was changed by the Salt Mine, which we were not prepared for. That's why the bus didn't arrive on time. About costs: tickets to the mine are expensive, plus we have to add costs such as transport and service from the host. Despite everything, we are glad that we could show you this beautiful place on the map of Poland. I hope you will choose Discover Cracow again!

Die Buchung der Tour über das hotel hat problemlos funktioniert, Abholung war pünktlich und der Fahrern (Namen leider vergessen), war sehr freundlich.
Das Salzbergwerk ist beeindruckend und wirklich einen Besuch wert.
Kritikpunkt ist leider, dass unsere Tourguide sehr leise gesprochen hat und man sie kaum verstand.

I am just recovering from a stress fracture in my foot. I am completely mobile but am moving a little slower than usual. I can do steps but at a slower pace. With the aid of a walking stick I think I should be fine. Are the steps steep? Are they all at one time or broken up into segments?

Hi, sorry for the delay.
I agree with the other answers and would wait until it has healed fully.
I have a little discomfort in my right ankle from an old injury done many years ago and the day after the visit it was a little sore.
To be safe I’d wait as the guides don’t hang about.
We were keeping a couple in there early 70’s company as they were having a little trouble keeping up with the fast pace of the guide in our group.
Me and my boyfriend have booked for today at 5pm and was wondering how early we need to arrive before or allotted time? We don’t want to turn up and miss our time slot nor be mega early and be stood around waiting.

1. Does the luggage store hold lage luggage 20kg bag
2. Do we need to book tickets for around 11/11.30 am
3. Is there enough ubers to get to the airport after the salt mines?

Hi. I am sorry. I don’t know about the luggage there as we didn’t take any.
You can queue for tickets when you arrive. No need to prebook. English tours are frequent: almost every 30 minutes.
We had to wait 20 minutes for our Uber on the way back and there was traffic, so be aware.

Possibly not, it is quite wide most of the time but the ceiling is low and the steps are narrow on the odd occasion.

You CANNOT go down in the lift. Definitely only lift to go back up. Hundreds of steps down and then walking a few miles around the mine. Need to be relatively fit.
