Truly a special experience with a local guide! Getting to see the market where the locals go was a treat! I could have spent more time there BUT we needed to get to our guide's home to make the pierogis! We enjoyed her sharing her life and historical knowledge as we traveled to her place. Dominika was perfectly prepared, having things ready to go once we got there. This made it so enjoyable as we learned some of the 'secrets' to accomplishing pierogi making for when we return home! Thank you so much for this fun experience.

So, I signed up for the pierogi making class because when in Poland you need to do as they do. My friend was sick so it was just me. Alicja was the guide. We started on time and walked to the market where she told me I’d be ordering the food and gave me a “polish cheat sheet” we practiced first ( it was hard but Im so glad I tried) . It was not what I expected but so so happy as I wanted to learn and experience as the Polish do. She took time to explain food in the market and beyond. It was fascinating to see how they make their pickles. After a short trip to her home we started, now let me preface -I don't eat much and I don't cook. Well,, I had the BEST day, Alicja stood right by me guiding, telling stories and answering my million questions as she taught me the art of making the dough, the inside and how t finish them with your own “signature”. I not only learned to cook them I tried other polish foods, and ate some of a poppy cake ( id never even heard of it) ,, we talked about so many things and I learned so much. It was beyond a pleasure to spend time learning, cooking and conversing with Alicja. I’d do it again in a heartbeat

I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the market and learning how to make pierogi. The class was really fun and insightful and the food was so delicious. Kat was a wonderful teacher and host. Thank you so much for a wonderful class!

This class was the highlight of my visit to Krakow. Not only did we learn to make pierogis, but we also got to visit a local market and practice our Polish with locals! It was really a special experience and I'm so glad I did it.

A wonderful way to experience Krakow and make lasting memories- we loved shopping the market for our ingredients, learning some Polish phrases, and then spending the morning in the lovely home of our guide Alicja making peirogi’s and new friends. Highly recommend making this part of your stay in Krakow!

This was a really great family experience. Kasia taught us some Polish words, mainly ingredients used in making Pierogis. We all went to the local market and used our limited polish after the lesson to purchase our ingredients to make pierogis. The market itself was amazing and the produce was beautiful. We took a cab back to her place to make pierogis. This was my daughters favorite experience of our time in Krakow. Kasia was personable and pleasant and her English was really good. Highly recommended!

Grandpa, son and grandson all enjoyed our class with Kasia going through the basics of making pierogis. From shopping for the proper ingredients to setting up the kitchen. She nailed it. They were really good.

Kasia met a friend and Me at our hotel. We walked over to the local market to shop for pierogi make ingredients. She gave us a little polish lesson so that we could attempt communicating with the market vendors. The market itself was amazing. Fruit, sweets, meats, cheese everywhere & displayed beautifully. We went to her house and learned how to make pierogies. She was very sweet and patient. We had a fun time and I’m confident I can make pierogies on my own now. We had a wonderful conversation. The memory of this activity will stay with me forever.

Perogie making with Anna was a wonderful experience... First shopping in the market place to purchase ingredients, then tram ride to Anna's apartment followed by hands on perogie making and then enjoying our meal together. We really enjoyed it and it was special because it was a small group... Just 5 of us

Anna made our Pierogi making experience in Krakow one of the most memorable parts of our trip. She took us shopping for ingredients in the farmers market, helped us navigate the tram system and made sure we got back to our hotel safely.
What an amazing way to feel like a local instead of a tourist. Anna treated us like her favorite cousins from America.

Dzien dobry, just booked for june 16, diana/Danusia i siostra tania - we don’t drink alcohol but maybe u could have non alcoholic beer? Or we buy at market? Also we do not like cottage cheese in our pierogi, but we like other cheese. Hope this is ok, dziekuje bardzo 🤠🇨🇦

Hello - Is it possible to get a written copy of the recipe after the class? We love pierogi and we may not remember all the important details after the class is over and we are home again. Thank you for your help.
