We had an excellent guide in Mitja. We would recommend booking direct with the guides as viatour cancelled the trip at short notice due to being unable to take payment. The matter was resolved but did take some persistence on our part in contacting them.
As for the guided climb itself, Mitja was fantastic. We were picked up from our accommodation near Bled early on day one (c.6:20) and started the hike to the mountain at about 7:00am.
Throughout the hike and climb, Mitja had an incredible amount of knowledge on the route and was very personable with all of our group.
Unfortunately, one member of our group suffered a knee injury on the way down the mountain. Mitja took excellent care of her and an additional guide came to take down the other 3 people in our group.
The stay in the hut near the top of the mountain was good. Traditional Slovene cuisine at affordable rates.

We had a fantastic experience climbing Triglav via the Blato Meadow, the seven lakes valley and back. We got the best of both worlds, hiking on our own to the Dolic Hut and back from the Planika hut, meant we could enjoy the scenery and wildlife at our own pace. But meeting Marco our guide booked via explore-share.com and having his expertise, harnesses, helmets and advice for the via Ferrata, ascent and descent of Triglav, was fantastic. We definitely felt safe and in good hands, which removed any stress from the situation, leaving us free to enjoy it. 2018

Excellent all around. The guide (Martin) was friendly, knowledgeable, and strong as hell! I had a blast and will never forget this challenging, yet rewarding experience.

This was by far one of the most enjoyable hikes I’ve ever done. It was physically challenging, and the views were priceless. I would highly recommend not only the hike, but also the Mitja Šorn guide team. Communication was easy leading up to the hike, and they were very responsive. It was honestly enjoyable having Tadej with us for the entirety of the hike

Our trip to the summit with guide Blaz was amazing! We had no experience but that did not matter at all. We had a great time, Blaz made us laugh and took us safely to the summit and back. Blaz was always in touch with the meteorologists and could tell what the weather was gonna do so he kept us out of thunder storms. One of the best things we have ever done. Thank you so much for this great experience!

Vi havde Igor Kremser som guide. Han var meget kompetent, vidende og havde et godt humør. Både voksne og vores 2 teenagere ville vælge Igor igen til enhver tid som vores guide. Turen op på Triglav er spændene, tilpas hård og overnatningen i hytten er en oplevelse værd. Vi er glade for, at vi havde købt de ting som stod på listen vi fik tilsendt. Specielt gode støvler, vandrestave, handsker og en god rygsæk anbefales. Der står i beskrivelsen, at Igor er aspirant - tag ikke fejl han er yderst professionel og en hyggelig fyr, at tilbringe et par dage med. Vi satte stor pris på, at han hentede os i Kranjska Gora i sin bil. Vi havde overvejer om en guide var nødvendig... det gør oplevelsen meget bedre og større . Tag en tur på Triglav med Igor - du vil ikke fortryde det

Mitja and the tour were great, we felt always safe, unfortunately the summit was in clouds but the views on the accent north face were incredible

Definitely would recommend. I had a unique situation where I stupidly gave Mitja the wrong address to pick me up in the morning for the hike. I didn't have an activated phone with me, nor was I near wifi, but Mitja put in way more effort, than I ever would, to get a hold of me in order to set me up with another guide that was heading up to the hut later that day. My hike up the the hut with our other guide Igor was awesome, he answered all my questions and gave me lots of advice for travelling within Slovenia.
Mitja was super accommodating, knowledgeable and chill. 10/10 must do, must see.

It's great to read that you could work out the logistics trouble together with Mitja, and were able to enjoy the finest Slovenian landscapes. We can see in the picture that you posted that it was challenging but you enjoyed it!
