Ljubljana and its outlying caves, castles, countryside and Lakes Bled and Bohinj were like a fairytale. The absolute best decision we made was to choose Barbara as our tour guide for two days. Her insight, extensive knowledge, flexibility and warm friendly nature enhanced our visit beyond what we ever could have accomplished on our own. She was clearly educated, willing to offer suggestions and delightfully genuine. We learned so much and left wanting to tell everyone what a hidden gem Slovenia is. Departing beautiful Ljubljana was bittersweet, but we gained a new friend in Barbara.

Barbara was a fanatic guide. One of the best tours we have been on. Very knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly took her time. Very flexible and the history of the city was excellent. Barbara does not do a rehearsed speech it is very fluid and you can ask all the questions you want to. It was a very relaxed tour that you didn’t want to end!
Highly recommend!!

I had an interest in Ljubljana but knew little about Slovenia. Barbara organized the perfect tour that enabled me to see and learn so much more than I could have imagined while thoroughly enjoying myself. For just a 2 1/2 day trip, Barbara was able to take me not only throughout Ljubljana but also to beautiful Lake Bled, Postoyna Caves, quaint Italian villages, a medieval church with remarkable frescos in the outlying area, and so much more! During the tour I learned so much from Barbara about Slovenian history, culture, geography, and its evolution as a republic. Barbara is not just an excellent and well-organized travel guide who speaks excellent English, she is also a great travel partner who encourages not just an understanding but a love of Slovenia. Whether you want to stay for three days or three weeks, Barbara will arrange the perfect trip that will provide you with so many special lifetime memories. You could not choose a better travel partner than Barbara!

Rok was a great tour guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable and speaks perfect English. A fun and informative tour of Old Town Ljubljana with a little extra excursion some of the city’s cool art scene. Loved it and highly recommend it if you’re in Ljubljana.

A few years ago my wife went on a tour of Slovenia and Croatia which had Rok as the guide. Before returning to Ljubljana for this trip, she tracked him down and we booked a tour for the two of us.
We are staying in the city for ten days, so we told Rok that we could visit the cathedral and castle on our own. What we really wanted to see was the city from a local's perspective. Rok gave us exactly what we asked for.
We headed straight for Metelkova, which was a state military barracks before Slovenia declared independence from Yugoslavia. Now it is an autonomous culture and social center (google Metelkova to find out more).
From there we wandered the lesser seen places while Rok gave us ideas for the rest of our trip. Because of his recommendations we got wonderful massages in our apartment and saw a Gramatik concert at Križanke.
I'm sure Rok can give a great tour of the the Cathedral and Museums too, but he listened to what we wanted from our tour and delivered exactly what we wanted.

Barbara was absolutely wonderful in arranging our 2 week visit to Croatia and Slovenia. We had great guides with Ivan and Bene. Everything went smoothly. Our hotels were varied and excellent. We had city and country adventures. I recommend her highly.

My mother and I had a great experience with Barbara on an all day excursion in the mountains outside of Ljubljana! We learned a ton, had great scenery and rode the gondola up the mountain to Vogel, all worthwhile and very picturesque! Barbara makes for an instant friend and we hope to visit her again soon!

We spent 2 wonderful days touring with Barbara from Croatia to Ljubljana to Lake Bled. Barbara is great at imparting her wealth of knowledge and is passionate about her country and sharing experiences with travelers. We were thankful to Barbara for going out of her way and assisting us with an issue with the local car rental company in Rijeka.
Highly recommend Barbara as a fun, informative and caring tour guide and look forward to catching up with her again as we will return to beautiful Slovenia. Thank you so much Barbara.
