visiting fonda fish farm is something you really shouldn’t skip if visiting the seaside of Slovenia. the owner gave us a tour around the marine and fish pools and it was very informative. you could see that she was talking with great passion for fish and sea, especially sea conservation, sustainability, and biodiversity. and make sure to do the fish and wine tasting, because everything was delicious. overall, a very special experience!!

Totally recommend to visit this sustainable Fish Farm in Slovenia where you will see how growing sea bass, learn interesting information about all fish farming process with boat that would take you from marine.
After that you will have degustation with wine and small canapés.
Great to visit not only for group of friends but also for families.

Here, you can observe the sea bass cultivation process, learn fascinating details about fish farming, and enjoy a boat tour around the marine area. Following the tour, indulge in a tasting session featuring wine and delectable canapés. It's an ideal outing for both groups of friends and families alike.

The tour was excellent. It was very informative and entertaining. The staff and our tour guide was very friendly and welcoming. Our bout ride was pleasant as we went there on a sunny day. After showing us the sea bass, they surprised us with the dehydration of sea bass carpaccio and bakala which were amazing. The quality really shows the importance of this way of farming and bio friendly mindset that Fonda family are known for. To summon up I’d recommend this tour to families with kids as it could really be a fun and educational time spending for everyone involved. Also would recommend it to everyone who want to support and learn more about our plans and the marine life.

Today we leanrd about fish. We wnt with bouth in Slovenia marien. Have more information about fish, how they care about fish and biodiversity, how much fish is on one net. It was family business “Fonda”. It was very fun and interesting. In the end of tihs tour, we have degustation wine and fish. It was unforgettable experiences

The Fonda team share their deep knowledge and expertise in their field, expanding your knowledge on the topic of organic fish farming. The team of biologists has a retro-inovative mentality, which combines new technology and sustainable farming methods with old traditions of Istran people (not letting anything go to waste). Mrs Fonda organised a boat trip to see the farm up close, focusing on the story of the Fonda farm and the roadblocks the business had to overcome to set a foot on the market. After a valuably insightful presentation, they also allowed us to taste homemade appetizers and wine, all made from local ingredients.

It was an amazing tour. We hear a lot of about fish farm, how they owned it. It is a family bussines. They told us a lot of about sustainable tourism and how to protect the nature for damagin. You go from marine tooversee the Istria and the way how they farming fish and feed them.

Unforgettable experience in Slovenian Istria. An owner greeted us with a smile and showed us around. We saw their non-profit biodiversity ecosystem. And after tour guide we were served with wine, fish spread. Thank you for unique experience.
