this was an excellent tour! Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly and we had a small group so all very personal. We went to two vineyards who were very generous with the wine and their knowledge, and we had a lovely lunch at the second vineyard. We would definitely recommend this tour and would happily do it again!

This trip was one of the best ways to experience traditional Hungarian life! Peter our guide and driver was brilliant, he has so much knowledge and made us all feel very welcome. We boarded the minibus near our hotel and visited two Etyek wineries. At the second stop we were treated to homemade Hungarian lunch of pork stew and chocolate cake while we tasted their own wines. Highly recommend

Very lucky there was only myself & my partner and another 2 ladies. Weather was amazing. Tour guide Michael was also very good, broke the ice, very knowledgeable. Wine makers had many different wines to choose from and spoke a bit about each one. And the traditional food at the last home was lovely. Could’t recommend enough.

Highly recommended tour! Our guide/driver was knowledgeable, the hosts of the wineries we visited were wonderful and welcoming, and the various wines and our Hungarian dinner were all excellent! I can't say enough good things about this company.

If you want to go and have a look outside of Budapest this is for you. I think we were really lucky finding this gem. Our guide (Peter) picked us up from the hotel, we were a small group and got on well. Firstly we went for about a 30 min ride to a small independent Winery, with some outstanding wines to sample. Then on to a fabulous lunch at another where the conversation flowed. A shame to leave…

This experience is a 5 out of 5! All 3 places we went were small but amazing. They gave us history on the area and each vineyard. I would highly recommend doing this trip. It was a great way to get out of the city and see the countryside.

Was a great tour. Was picked up promptly at our hotel in Budapest and the two wineries we visited were delightful. Got to try some great wines (with snacks at the first and lunch at the second). Also, our guide was super nice and informative. Definitely recommend!

Peter was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. He took us to two wineries. The first winery was wonderful and I tasted the best white wine I've ever had in my life. The second place was picturesque and we got to sample 4 different wines while we ate a truly incredible wild boar stew. Awesome experience. 10/10

Such a great experience from start to finish! Pick up was simple. Visited 3 very different wineries and all three were charming. Delicious Hungarian wine! Ended with an absolutely authentic meal! Wish I could rate it more the 5! Our guide Peter was so kind and knowledgeable and made the entire trip fun. Tysm

If i book the private tour for me and my wife would your driver just take the two of us? or is two people to small of a group?

They take however many people have booked and adjust the vehicle size to match the size of the group. This is a popular trip, so I would think it is rare that they have to transport only two people. Their communication was very good with us, so I suspect they will advise a different time slot if two people are uneconomical

It seems like each stop we encountered there was some limited gluten free options. However, my suggestion would be to carry your own. There are many places to pick up some good snacks (for cheap) in town. Hey..the wine was wonderful!!
