This was a great tour with Katalin. It was educational and fun…two of my favorite things. She was also very responsive to my unique interests. I learned a lot about Hungary, its history, and its people all while enjoying the Christmas market atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Susan was an excellent guide. She knew many of the facts about Budapest that only a trained local would know. She brought us through Christmas market, stopped for warm wine and cinnamon buns and showed us many of the antique buildings that were abandoned during the communist period - one that is worth seeing is currently the Four Seasons. She dropped us off at her favorite restaurant which was a Hungarian place called The Strudel. Highly recommend. Great time

Thank you very much for your review, recalling nice memories from Christmas!
I will never forget the moment when we were at the Vörösmarty square eating the huge chimney cake (kürtőskalács), it disappeared in less than a minute, I felt like I was your mother, my heart melted seeing how you liked it!
Happy to hear that you liked the restaurant as well!
I hope to see you again one day, maybe in a different season of the year, it was really a pleasure to show you around the city!

Å se disse markedene, alle blide menneskene, belysningene og alle luktene er en herlig opplevelse. Det hyggeligste markedet er foran St Stephan basilikaen, men også veldig hyggelig på et nyrenovert Vörösmarty tér.

De nombreux marchés de Noël sont installés dans Budapest. Que des petits chalets vous proposant de l’artisanat et de la gastronomie hongroises. Vous en prenez plein les yeux. C’est féerique.

Différents marchés sont installés et généralement proches des uns et des autres..... une très bonne ambiance avec des bons produits régionaux..... vous en aurez plein les yeux et dés odeurs comme jamais !!!! Il faut y aller ....prix très corrects

We visited 4 different Christmas markets, all in Budapest, quite close to each other. The tour was amazing, also the Christmas sweets and the mulled wine was awesome. Katie was very friendly, and told us many very interesting details. Also the night lights in Budapest around Christmas is wonderful. Hope next year I can go back with them again, it was a really good experience.
