This was a great day. We decided to book the trip not only because Bratislava was geographically so close to Budapest, but because during our stay in Budapest we had learnt of the linked history of Hungary and Slovakia.
Bratislava was beautiful, amazing architecture in the old town and rich in history.
Susanna was amazing. Her knowledge of the history of Slovakia, Hungary and associated European history was extensive. We even had an impromptu trip through a more modern urban area which gave us a view of Bratislavian life today.
Really educational day, has inspired us to learn more about central and Eastern European history.

We enjoyed the trip, our guide told us a lot of the history of Bratislava and she gave us ample time to look around the castle and then we had this tram tour of the Old Town. We had a good lunch and we were given free time to go shopping and relax. As we walked around the town she gave us helpful info about the country and its history. We saw the Blue Church too. All in all it was a pleasant trip and I would recommend this tour highly.

I booked this private Day Trip from Budapest with a stop at Esztergrom, a city in northern Hungary. Atilla, our driver and tour guide was full of information. Wish we knew that the Basilica was under renovation but it was still a good visit. Wonderful visit and wish we had more time. A must visit outside Budapest. Highly recommend this visit.

We booked the private day tour from Budapest to Bratislava which included lunch. This was advertised as a 10hr tour from 8am to 6pm. We were picked up at 8am, we stopped for a coffee along the way and arrived in Bratislava at 10:30 and by 1:30 we were in the car being told we were on our way back to the airport. We were quite shocked as we were not given any free time to walk around and have a look at the shops nor were we offered to go inside the castle or churches at our own expense. I wanted to go into a souvenir store and I felt like I had to hurry, the 3hrs was very rushed and not a good experience at all. We walked past market stalls and Attila said we would come.back past to browse and we did not go back. When I asked Attila why are we going back to the airport so soon when we still had a 2-3 more hours before we were supposed to leave to go to the airport he advised that is all you can see in Bratislava. I made a complaint to Sussana the tour operator and next minute our guide is telling us we have one more stop to go to and gave us 2 options, both were not in Bratislava which we paid for but back in Hungary. I said I would not have paid for additional airport transfers if I knew the tour was not going to go for the promised 10hrs and was then told by sussana that there was a misunderstanding as we did not get charged for airport transfers but going back to what this tour cost and what we paid there was definitely additional charges on our fee.
I would not recommend this company to anyone and if you want to have a pleasant experience in Bratislava then use a different company because we would not have paid the cost of this tour for 3hrs in Bratislava and 40mins of this time included a sit down lunch.

Very interesting and nice trip. Susan, the guide, gives you a good overview and explanation of the main attractions. She is wonderful. Bratislava is a gem. Highly recommended if you are staying in Budapest.

We loved this tour! On our 5 days holiday in Budapest, we found this one day private tour to Slovakia on tripadvisor. It is only a 2 hours drive from Budapest. It gave us the possibility to see Bratislava's most famous places and its beautiful hidden streets.
We learnt a lot about the city from our guide, Sophia, she was friendly and informative.

My wife and I tried to reserve a booking online for Friday 17 June from the Budapest Marriot to go to Bratislava. I have no email or record of it being processed. Is that one in your system please? Kind regards David
