The other pair due to have this tour cancelled, so my partner and I had a private tour with Oliver (apologies if I have your name incorrect here!). We're really glad we chose this tour over the ones that just whip around central Pest as we got to see so much more of Budapest in its entirety than we otherwise would have. The views from the top of the Buda hills was amazing. We grabbed a drink whilst waiting for the train to take us a bit nearer to the top! The terrain was super varied and included a bit of downhill off-roading. It wasn't the easiest bike in the world and by the end of our 3.5 hour tour (was a bit shorter as there was only two of us so less waiting around) we were thoroughly worn out but satisfied.

An absolutely top ‘day’ out! We saw the highlights of the city first with great commentary from Oliver, tailored to our little group’s interests. He was very considerate on the steep bits going up and we had great fun on the downhill. You do need to have a basic level of fitness to manage this trip! We were out for about 5 hours and it would have been lovely to be guided round more of the city if there were a whole day tour. We missed our excellent guide, and fab bikes, looking around the rest of the city the following day.

Oliver started us out by taking us around Pest and taught us all about Hungarian history. Then we went riding up the mountain side of Buda which was challenging and fun. We had fabulous views and interesting conversation. The ride was the highlight of our stay in Budapest. It gave us a great feel for the city. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Starting in town we ventured through Pest, making regular sightseeing stops with great conversation and information being provided to us regarding monuments and places/statues of interest. Thomas our guide, spoke very good e
English and there were jokes along the way too! We got the train up to Buda and to further monuments and off the road through parks - where we ate strudel and had a welcome break while making the most of the fabulous views and the skyline. Cycling right to the very top was great - although you can get off and walk the last element - but have a go and see if you can cycle to the top!!!! Freewheeling down the off road track was another fab experience and navigating the terrain - but exhilarating at the same time. This was certainly a visit we will never forget and Thomas was an excellent guide and good conversationalist. It is suitable for children but you will need to go at a lesser pace down the off road on the way back but if they are confident on their bikes at home it should be ok for them.

Overvej det ikke længe. Bare kom afsted. I får så meget for jeres penge. Vi var afsted med vores to teenagere som nød turen som både bød på flotte seværdigheder i byen og samtidig en flot tur til Budapests højderyg med fantastisk udsigt over byen. Vores guide Laci var super flink, hjælpsom, fortællende og opmærksom. Han havde en god fornemmelse af, hvad vi synes var spændende- også når man er teenager. Turen ned mod byen var med høj fart og flot igennem skoven. Der var meget lidt fysisk anstrengelse, kun en enkelt bakke- mest nydelse. Dog skal man selvfølgelig være helt sikker på en cykel. Turen havde en tilpas længde. Vi blev sørget godt for med æblekage og vand undervejs. Rigtig god tur.

אשתי ואני בחרנו בסיור ההרפתקה המורחב (4.5 שעות). תחילה רכבנו מבעד לאתרים העיקריים בתוך העיר, קיבלנו הסבר מעולה, מעמיק ואקטואלי על כל אתר. אח"כ חצינו את הגדר לצד של בודה, רכבנו באזורים מקסימים שאינם מתויירים בדרך כלל. ואז, טיפסנו ברכבת ה cog train העתיקה עם האופניים על לפסגת הגבעות שצופות אל העיר. ומשם, רכבנו בנופי טבע וחורש מדהימים, עצרנו לתצפיות פנורמיות יוצאות דופן על בודפשט, טעמנו שטרודל מסורתי על רקע נוף מדהים, וגלשנו בשטח אל שכונות המגורים, במסלולי אופניים נוחים, ומשם חזרה אל העיר דרך גשר השלשלאות.
המדריך מדהים, ידען, דובר אנגלית, גרמנית, והונגרית. תיבל הומור, אהבת טבע, בקיאות מופלאה בהיסטוריה ובאקטואליה של הונגריה אז והיום. האופניים מעולים, לא אופני עיר, אלא מותאמים גם לעליות, גם לירידות, וגם לשבילי פארק נוחים. איכותיים יותר, קלים יותר ועם יותר הילוכים משאר זוגות האופניים המסורבלים של החברות האחרות.
אנחנו ממליצים בחום על הטיול הארוך. לא מצאנו דומה לו בכל האטרקציות האחרות. הוא אפשר לנו לחוות את בודפשט מזוויות שתיירים פשוט לא זוכים לחוות. גם ספורט, גם טבע, גם נוף עירוני, מפי מדריך מקצועי ואוהב רכיבה וטבע.
מומלץ מאד! אנחנו כבר בודקים אתו אפשרות לתפור טיול אופניים לאורך הדנובה, ומעבר לכך. מומלץ בחום!

Thomas took just two of us to this amazing adventure ride to Children Railway and Elizabeth Lookout. Highly recommended!! Having Thomas feels more like riding with a friend than a guide. Very friendly and helpful. Very flexible to meet our needs. Thank you for creating a great memory for us.

The tour was great and our guide was excellent!
Would definitely recommned to anyone who wants to see the main sights of Budapest and the regions around in one afternoon.
Better take the tour on your first day of visit to Budapest so that you take a good overview of the city that will help you decide which sites you'll visit the following days.

Adventure biking in Budapest is a totally fantastic trip. Karoly was our guide and he knew a lot about the history of Budapest and the surroundings.. very informative. The bikes were very good and in good condition. The trip was rather easy even though it lasted for 5 hours. We had a panoramic view over Budapest... a sight that one can not forget.

My friend and I did this tour and it was excellent. We spent hours site seeing Budapest and learning about it's history. Our guide did a great job giving us as much information as he could (in English to my friend and I and German to a group that was with us). It was a lot of fun!
