I am so glad we did this as the first thing in Hungary. We learned so much actually useful info about Hungarian wines that we kept referring to thing we had been told throughout our stay there. Great evening and fun presentation. I am happy I chose to do this and would recommend it to anyone interested in a little more upscale tasting event.

We booked for a party of 6 the day before as we thought it would be a good way to spend a rainy afternoon. It was a great choice as Miki was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable host. We tried several wines and learnt a huge amount about the country. He also supplied a large plate each of cheese, salami and olives. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant tasting. The person who carried out the tasting had good knowledge and made the evening very enjoyable. The wines in the tastings had a 10% discount.

Lovely evening trying some fantastic Hungarian wines and food - who knew Hungry does such nice wines! Fascinating to find out more about the wines and the local culture too. We all agreed we'll be keeping an eye out for Hungarian wines in the future! One of our party was vegetarian and this was catered for. We were a hen group and this was an enjoyable first night activity.

We had a wonderful wine tasting here back in November , it was one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest ! All 3 of us run restaurants/pubs in the uk and we found Miklós professional and friendly . His stories and knowledge of the wine was fantastic . All the wine was delicious !! Would highly recommended.

This was an absolutely excellent experience - informative, entertaining, enjoyable and a highlight of the trip.
Miki is an excellent host. He is extremely knowledgeable, and is able to explain and present exceptionally well.
The wines tasted were excellent and provided a great introduction to the range of Hungarian wine.

Miki is a wine expert! This wine tasting was informative and allowed us to taste wine whilst learning all about Hungarian wine and how it came to be. Thanks Miki, you were great!

My friend and i had an excellent evening with Mickey. Lots of information delivered in an enthusiastic and engaging way! Fantastic opportunity to learn about and try really high quality wines that you can't find outside of Hungary. Really liked the personal touch and did the earlier slot (5pm) so we were then able to stay in the bar for the rest of the evening and enjoy a bottle of our favourite!

Miklos is a wonderful host and an incredible "scholar" about Hungarian wines.
We've had not just a geographical journey across the 22 wine regions of Hungary, but also a bit of history, the gossips, etc... and of course the wines!...
A very nice "crew" for these few hours, with great curiosity, interests, questions, ... and a fantastic sense of humour.
I definitely recommend the experience.

I’m wondering if you have catered in the past for hen/bachelorette parties? Or if anyone reading this has experienced this wine tasting as part of a hen party/group of girls?
