Sarunas was a great tour guide!

The guide was amazing, he provided a lot of info and perfectly balanced traumatic stories with funny curiosity, giving the whole tour a perfectly enjoyable experience.

The views were amazing so many sights I saw which I wouldn't have been able to do so. Had it not been for the tour directing me. It was just two of us in the group so we could ask as many questions. The quide was a lovely well informed local. With a good strong academic knowledge of the subject. And they themselves were very helpful. Made the trip even more memorable. It is a solem journey however. So don't do this on your last day. Do it first. Then do all the beautiful fun things next. This explores the darker past of Vilnius and wider Lithuania. It's made a lasting impression on me.

Really nice 2 hours tour along the city. Vilus was really nice and friendly, he explained all the history and took us to the main spots in Vilnius.

I did the Soviet tour and it was very interesting. In this tour, you do not visit the "soviet neighborhoods" with large apartment blocks which are a little outside of the center of the city, but you visit very central places in the city and learn about their significance during different times of Soviet Occupation in Lithuania. There was a lot of interesting information which I did not know, specific to Vilnius. And definitely there are a few places that an average tourist would miss out and not find in the city, without the help of the guided tour. So I can recommend to anyone. You will finish the tour with a lot of new knowledge.

Our guide Vilnus was absolutely stellar! He created a safe environment where the tour group was encouraged to ask many questions about the Soviet past of Lithuania, but also about modern life and their view on current events. Throughout many (personal) stories of the struggles and victories of the Lithuanian people during the Soviet Union, he also put a lot of effort in painting an understanding of how the experiences in the past still held an effect on Lithuanian mindsets today. As a bonus, we held a 10-minute break at a shopping mall where Vilnus was eager to tell more about his favourite local candies. His enthousiasm, honesty and humour are unprecented and we'd love to take another tour with him as soon as we can!
