Highly recommend tour!
It is on an app that offers heaps of different self guided tours in different countries. Some paid some not but buy booking through Trivago we just had to put a code and it was good.
There was a main route to follow but even if you deviated you can learn about other monuments.
On the app there's options to see your route, to tell you if you are going off track, parked spot, info about places being read out loud and you can download the map so if the wifi isn't great, you still get the full app experience!

Mr Grumpy was the best companion :) and the questions in the game too. Tour itself was good and informative. Audio text-reader was not too annoying :)

Worth it. Sure, the audio computer voice isn't ideal (and I think the app developers should consider changing it) but it was worth the small price, and really helped with understanding where to go and what to see in Tallinn.

This is not an audio guide it’s a computer reading service connected to a map with bad interface. The information was good though.

We are in constant development in computer reading voices and we admit that AI voice is not the best quality yet. Good and simple tour. Quick overview of the town only with one and half hours walking time. Navicup app was easy to install and handle.

This audio tour is okay if, like me, you have a short time in Tallinn and want to learn about it. You receive a link to download an app that has a map and the tour commentary. The map was kind of annoying to use because when you try to move it to look at surrounding areas from where you are, it zooms back to your location. The audio was computer generated, so I actually preferred to read the commentary instead of listening to it, but the audio automatically plays at each stop. There were quite a few sites in the app, but when I compared it to a map of old town that I got at the visitor information office, it didn’t have as many as on the printed map.

Thank you for good comments. We try to improve the computer generated voice or for some more popular languages we will use human voiceovers. And you can switch it off as well.
On the screen, you have a red button that switches off this zooming back to your location (just like Google maps). We will think of a better way to let users know about this option.
We added 36 new objects of churches, museums and historical sites in old town, so you can now explore the whole old town.

Went to the Tallinn old town with my girlfriend using the tour guide, we didn´t want anything too complicated so the Navicup guide was perfect.
