Kunnig guide som gav oss inblick i den Lettiska historien och maten. Stort smörgåsbord med diverse rätter avslutar vandringen och vi var både mätta och belåtna

I loved this tour. Guna was an excellent guide, and made sure that everyone in the group was catered for.
She started with a history of the market, and then took us through the various hangers explaining how Latvians cook and use each product. We watched her buy fresh produce which was served in a reserved area. Although we tried small portions of everything, I came away feeling very full!
By the end of the tour, we had tried pork, chicken, cheese, fish, pickled vegetables, vodka, rhubarb cordial and sweets.

Had a great time on the tour. We met in old town and walked over to the Central Markets from there. Our guide was great at talking us through everything in the markets and was very natural, it didn't feel like there was just a memorized script. You taste everything from smoked meat to regional sweets to local fish. A great tour in all!

Great food experience that gives you a real flavour for the traditional foods in Latvia in the historic market setting. Guna was friendly and informative. Sampled market foods and a few local drinks. Recommend this tour.

Yes, I would make sure they know in advance or on arrival. You will see some sights as you tour the food/meat market but hopefully this wont put you off. I hope you get Guna as your guide as she's brilliant.

You might try to contact the guide, Guna from Riga Trips, directly through her website. The website does indicate that there will be no food tours from 10 August – 26 August, due to holidays - that may be the reason why.

Yes you do! We did the same exact thing and we had plenty of time after! The tour was about 2-ish hours so you are set!

You should just ask in the request. The total group size is 6-8, so they may be able to accommodate the group for a later tour.
