Excellent tour through 2 countries: Latvia🇱🇻 and Lituhania🇱🇹, with the Crosses✝️ as the ultimate goal. Beautiful surrondings, villages and palaces. It was a privelege to be driven and guided by Latvian Gem colleague Janis. Many thanks, Joost from The Netherlands🇳🇱.

I had such a wonderful day with Krista exploring Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace, and even adding in a Riga city tour!
Krista was such a patient, kind, and just all around great companion all day and I highly recommend going on any tour with her or her team!
I fell in love with Riga’s architecture and quirky public art, enjoyed walking amongst the countless crosses in Lithuania (easy border crossing by the way!), and savored the blooming roses in the Rundale Palace (Baltic’s own Versailles with much less crowds!)
Riga was not at the top of my list of cities to visit, but thanks to my new found appreciation because of Krista’s love of her own country, I’m excited to return one of these days!

As a Cristian-Catholic, it was a pleasure seeing this hill full of crosses, you think that there is already many crosses but whilst you keep walking deep into the hill you will find much more.
It is very beautiful to see that there is also the Air Baltic and Spanish military has left a cross for their fallen soldiers!
Definitely a beautiful place to visit!

I pre-booked this trip for Monday 3 June and the tour was cancelled the afternoon before I was supposed to go. I had to frantically arrange an alternative tour company who took me at short notice. I did get my refund back.
I wouldn't choose this company as the cancellation was at such short notice and I had to waste time trying to find an alternative tour company which did help out.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
The tour you booked with us was a SHARED GROUP tour, which only runs if there are at least three participants booked (as stated on the product page). Group tours are priced lower to make them accessible to more people, offering an affordable way to visit the hill without the expense of a private trip. Occasionally, the minimum number of participants isn't met, and in such cases, we cannot run the tour due to costs such as booking agent commissions, taxes, wages, vehicle maintenance, and fuel. This is why we had to cancel your tour.
It appears that your review was added to the listing for a PRIVATE TRIP to the Hill of Crosses, which is a completely different product. For clarity, private trips to the Hill of Crosses, including the "Hill of Crosses/2 countries in 1 day", can proceed with just one participant. While these trips are more expensive, they are guaranteed to run regardless of the number of participants. Thus, your review does not apply to the private tour.
I regret that we had to cancel the group trip on that day due to a lack of other travellers. However, I'm glad to hear that you managed to visit the Hill of Crosses.

Perfect private tour with Krista to the Hill of Crosses. Krista is very friendly, courteous, professional and well informed. She explained everything to us really well and shared a lot of interesting information about the country and the culture with us. Probably one of the best tours we have ever done. We would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to learn more about Latvia, Riga, Lithuania and the Hill of Crosses. Tip: The private tour is worth it. It is best to book directly through Krista. Conclusion: Price-performance ratio is right. We would book the tour again at any time!

Our family had a fantastic tour with Janis. He was a knowledgable and energetic tour guide, and we truly enjoyed his company for the day. He was attentive if we needed to stop, and kept our tour on track. The Hill of Crosses was an incredible and unique experience, and well worth the trip. I would definitely recommend this trip!

Great experience on a private tour with Janis. Was flexible with our early 7am start to catch the sunset, a lot of energy despite the early hour, gave great insight into both countries and was an efficient driver . We enjoyed covering culture, history and many other topics. Tour company was professional and easy to work with. They contacted me about last minute availability which I really appreciated !

Krista was an amazing guide. She explained so much about Riga as we headed to The Hill of Crosses, giving us information we didn't know about. The transport was comfortable with complimentary water for everyone. Our group was just 5 people. We got enough time at The Hill of Crosses, which is a very unique and special place. Very spiritual for alot of people. We also walked to the small monastery there. I would highly recommend Krista for this and all her tours which I am sure are also fantastic. Thank you 😊 💓
