Great tour

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this very informative tour. Our guide was very knowledgable. The tapas at Ti Maria’s was delicious. A great way to see and understand Tavira. Would recommend.

First class tour of Tavira & excellent tapas

Fantastic tour. Guide was first class showing Tavira brilliantly, and we learned lots. Wine and tapas were fab way to end the tour. Highly recommend.

Informative tour with super meal at conclusion

Friendly and informative guide, but spent too much time around the salt flats, probably because of less traffic. Beware that cobbled areas mean you are bounced in the tucktuck. The highlight was definitely the food and drink at the end. The service and quality at the restaurant was superb and made to cost worthwhile.

I'm sorry but I don't understand your comment when you say : Beware that cobbled areas mean you are bounced in the tucktuck, I just have to inform you that there are no security breaches on our tours. I must inform you that your tour had the same itinerary as all the others. Perhaps it would have been appropriate for you to inform our guide that you were not interested in visiting the salt pans and obtaining information about the sea salt process. The fact that you spent too much time in the salt pans was not due to a reduction in traffic, but because of the detailed explanation of the process. However, we could have altered the normal itinerary in line with your special request. But there were no special requests from you, I remember that you were extremely satisfied at the end of the tour. Marias Tuk Tuk Tavira, the best tour operator in Tavira, thanks you for your comment. A great tour to start your holiday

This is one of the best tours I’ve ever been on the driver was so informative and took us to every corner of the town and salt fields. I would recommend you do this at the start of your holiday as it gives you a great idea of where to go and the layout of the town. The tour finished with a tapas lunch in Ti Maria restaurant that is included in tour price and it was excellent. I had an extra drink and dessert and there was no charge for these and the waiter was a really nice guy. I would recommend this place even if you didn’t go on the tour just for lunch.

So much fun!

Our guide was very accommodating, funny and knowledgeable. The tour was so much fun! Ended at a cute local tapas restaurant where they gave us 4-5
appetizers and two drinks that were all included. It was fabulous. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Tavira. I also recommend doing it earlier on in your trip.

Fantastic trip

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to many interesting places , we wish we had been on the first day rather than the last as we would have known where to explore. We finished at Ti Maria Tapas restaurant which was a real gem, we will be back.

A must do if your a first time visitor to Tavira

The perfect way to get a pleasurable and informative overview of Tavira. From the salt pans to the castle and over the river and plenty in between with lots of interesting narrative and stops to take photographs and pop into places. The tapas at the end was lovely, generous helpings and friendly service. Cannot recommend this experience enough. The TukTuk sneaks through spaces where the road train cannot and the real life narrative beats a recorded one any day.

Go ahead and book! This is a great way to get the feel of Tavira and learn it’s history. João is a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We loved it!

Excellent tour

Excellent tour, great way to spend a morning, see Tavira and learn about the history of this beautiful place. Delicious lunch and sangria at the end of the tour!
