- gadfortune0 条分享我只参加市区旅游而已在有限的经费预算下，我只参加了基督城市区旅游而已。 此张照片应该是在Worester街上的教堂，印象会如此深刻是因为住宿就在附近，想要忘记都很难！教堂老旧损毁，是年久失修还是地震造成的我不清楚，有时候我会伫足观赏许久，虽然残破，但还是有钢梁支撑著，或许怕它倒塌。 其实这样也是保存建筑古蹟方法之一吧！我猜想。撰写日期：2016年3月26日

The visit to the sheep farm was excellent!!! It was informative, funny, and historical. Definitely one of the best shore excursions on the trip. A must do in Akaroa.

Unfortunately our ship was unable to dock due to poor conditions. We were devastated to miss this tour. I contacted the operators and given confirmation of a FULL refund within 24 hours of writing an email. So I am giving this 5 star rating purely based on the customer service aspect of getting a refund. It is very reassuring to know that this is available in case your ship cannot get into the harbour.

I'm really sorry to hear you didn't get to travel with us due to the poor weather conditions, but thank you very much for praising our team and customer service! It's our policy that, if the ship does not dock due to poor weather/sea conditions and the tour does not commence, then we will provide a full refund for all those who request one. It's all apart of our worry free guarantee when travellers book our tours!

This has been a tiring road trip from Akaroa : many kilometers on a narrow and winding road at high speed in an uncomfortable van (no space for the legs). What was the point of doing all those kms to stay 3/4h in Christchurch town centre with only one short stop to admire the viewpoint ? The only interesting part was the sheep shearing and tea-time at the farm.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. The tour you booked and advertised was "Banks Peninsula and Christchurch Sightseeing with Sheep Farm" and the excursion provided was exactly as described online in the excursion description. Due to the logistics of the day and with the limited time you have ashore in Akaroa excursion duration can not be extended as you are not ashore long enough. If you were not interested in visiting Christchurch and expereincing the wonderful scenery of Banks Peninsula you should have booked our Local Akaroa Sheep Fram Tour which is 2.5 hours in total duration.

The best part of this tour was the sheep farm. The people who run the farm are lovely, and gave us an excellent overview of the what it takes to run a sheep farm. As well, the tea and scones were delicious and the owners were extremely hospitable and engaging. They deserve a 5/5. There was some disorganization at the outset as a driver did not show up which left our driver handling it all. He was excellent (Dennis) and gave us a great deal of information as we drove to Christchurch. We then switched vans and had limited time at the museum before being dropped off for a lunch break. Janet was our driver for the afternoon and she also had a lot of information to share. She did a very good job but was compromised by the van she had to drive. The van that we were in for the afternoon was much too cramped for the number of people and any many of the clients were uncomfortable which should never have occurred. Given the narrowness of the seats, there should have been fewer people and another van added. It is not ok to fill the van to capacity when the leg room is cramped and the road is very winding. Two people had some car sickness which may not have occurred if they had more room. Everyone should be warned in advance of the type of road. It is very manageable if people have room and a window.

Thanks for the positive review regarding our drivers and the farm. We are very proud of our knowledgeable drivers and Hugh & Katherine have never disappointed their guests at the sheep farm. I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to the drivers/owners. As to some of your comments, I am a little confused with regards to the disorganization you were referring to. Akaroa is one of the most organized ports for independent operators that you'll find in NZ. Dennis was your allocated driver for the first part of the tour - Janet took over later to take the people doing sheep farm to the farm. As there were not many of you doing this particular tour for the day you travelled, this only required a smaller vehicle and has more than enough sufficient space for small groups. For those passengers that require more room, we are happy to accomodate provided they ask in advance so we can make the proper arrangements.
Thanks again for the positive review and we hope you get to visit New Zealand sometime again soon.
