Fun and informative kayaking trip!

We made a same day booking for the 11:30am trip and these guys were able to make it work for us. We loved the guided tour of Akaroa marine reserve and our guide Lee was great. He was very enthusiastic, informative and fun. This made the whole experience even better!

We will definitely be recommending this trip to others!

Super kayak tour met een hele leuke gids. Begripvol voor mijn mindere mobiliteit vanwege 2 kunstknieën. Alle tijd om in en uit de kano te komen.
Pinguïns gezien echt zo gaaf!

Had a lovely morning kayak with superb guide Tom. Conditions perfect, equipment excellent and group nice and small. Don't expect to see much "wildlife" as such, but fabulous environment and views for a pleasant, easy paddle.

Thanks for the review, if you scroll through the other reviews you will see that most tours do actually encounter alot of wildlife but with all wildlife it depends on the day, its hard to take your eyes off the mind blowing scenery so hopefully this made up for it

Incredible experience!

I had an amazing time on the sea kayaking tour! Our guide James was incredibly knowledgeable about native wildlife, marine life and bush life, sharing his knowledge with us as he guided us along the water. We were able to spot some dolphins as we made our way back to shore, as well as multiple other land species upon the rocks. James was super helpful and adaptive to all of our needs as our kayaking abilities varied. The tour would be perfect for both younger and older travellers looking for a fun activity on the water :)

Amazing experience!
We had a blast on the water! Our guide new his stuff and was very professional. We were able to swim on a beautiful beach, go into some shallow caves, and even saw a Hector Dolphin which made the trip a one in a kind experience. All & all a great way to spend a morning in Akaroa!

Great family adventure

Our family had a great time sea kayaking with our guides James and Tom. The kayaking was well explained and we felt safe and confident setting off. Lots to see and we’d recommend it to anyone who is keen for a water adventure in Akaroa.

My dad and I had a fantastic experience with Akaroa Kayaks and thoroughly enjoyed the day out with our very knowledgeable guide James. What a great place to kayak! I loved learning a lot about the local ecosystem. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great experience with James

James was a great guide around the shores of Akaroa. Very knowledgeable around the history and wildlife of the area. James even took some happy snaps for us. 10/10 would recommend!
