We were very disappointed to miss the port and this tour due to bad weather at Picton. The tour operator was understanding and provided a refund given the circumstances. Thank you.

Our boat didn’t dock at Picton due to weather. That morning at breakfast we read on their website , that there would be a full refund minus credit card fees if boats don’t dock. We contacted them later via email and were told then that we would only get back a partial refund.‘as we didn’t give 24 hours notice… we would suggest you don’t use this company for this tour

A great day touring local vineyards and getting lost of information regarding the region, vineyards, wineries and stopping to pick some delicious figs on the side of the trails!

What a pleasant day exploring with Graeme. It was a fun day, small group. The platter of nibbles served at Huia helped soak up some wine and kept us on track. There was a delay getting lunch due to venue demand but we all got fed. Thoroughly enjoyed the company and our guide was the best.

Bikes and wine - what can go wrong? LOL, nothing! This was such a perfect experience! We booked this tour through Celebrity Cruises who contracts with Explore Marlborough Wine Tours. We were picked up at the port and driven directly to the headquarters of Explore, located adjacent to Whitehaven winery - so it was here that we were outfitted with our bikes and equipment, as well as having our first (of 3) tastings. All told, we biked roughly 7.5 miles over flat paths - some paved but most are gravel, so you have to be careful on the gravel. We had two guides, one in the front of the pack and one in the back coming up the rear in case of stragglers. The tastings at all 3 wineries were lovely. Each winery was small and intimate. The first was Whitehaven, second was Gibson Bridge and the final winery was Forrest Wines. We were served an amazing lunch at Forrest, quite bountiful - as well as an excellent final tasting. At all 3 wineries, we enjoyed generous tastings and learned so much about each individual winery and the history of the Marlborough wine region. We made several photo stops on the ride, so that we could admire the vineyards, the mountains and the countryside as well as learn more about the area. So much fun, highly recommend!

I took this excursion from the Holland America Cruise line. The tour guides were fantastic, insuring we had a good, safe time. Even for a novice cyclist like myself, I was able to relax and enjoy the scenery and above all, the wineries. The 3 wineries (Framingham, Forrest, and Gibson Bridge) we visited were excellent, my favorite being Forrest where we had a wonderful lunch and wine tasting.

Bob, our guide/driver was Awesome! He was informative, very friendly, and jovial. He paced our group of 10 through 5 wineries and delicious lunch at Allan Scott with a bonus viewing of 9 Ferraris basking in the sun. The wineries were special and unique in their own ways. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Bob!

The wines were very good and the scenery was spectacular! Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful during the tour.
The stop at the Makana Chocolate factory is not to be missed--everything I had was delicious and took home way too much yummy goodness!

We joined a half day guided tour of wineries in the Marlborough region. Our guide picked us up and brought us to our first stop where we had our safety lesson and fitting for our bike. We had 8 participants and our guide. We sipped and rode for a total of about 6 miles. The wineries were small, family run and fantastic. The ride was comfortable and not to strenuous for a group of 50-70 year olds.
We ended with a nice lunch and van back to our cruise ship.
It was a great way to experience the region and we would definitely do a similar trip in the future.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and interactive.

We had a wonderful tour! Kevin, our driver, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He planned the tour to make sure we didn't get caught up in lines with tour buses. We definitely got our money's worth and a very high quality tour for a lot less than the cruise lines were charging! Highly recommend this tour company!

This tour sounds amazing but I just broke my knee. Can I ride a scooter and bring it from the ship? Does the winery have one? Is there a better place for me to visit? Can they accommodate me at all?
