My wife and I had the BEST day out on the water with Bruce this February. We booked rather last minute, but Bruce and Gabrielle were incredibly accommodating and provided the absolute best experience. The boat is beautiful and very comfortable, Bruce was a great guide not only as boat captain of the catamaran, but also of the dinghy – make sure to ask him to take you into the cave at Otata Island (I think that was the one). The prepared lunch was also delicious and fresh, we were really impressed. All around 10/10, beyond worth it – it was our honeymoon and filled with great days, but this was and remains our favorite day of the trip!

We had the best tour. We started sailing and went to a beautiful island and hiked around and then had lunch and sailed back. It was just wonderful and we loved it

The best boat trip that we have ever done ! Have done it twice now with family and friends. Gabrielle and Bruce looked after us exceptionally well with delicious food platters, sumptuous bbq (lamb !!), excellent seamanship, etc. Thoroughly recommended to anyone thinking of a special day on the water !!

We boarded the catamaran the same day that we arrived in New Zealand from the US. It was a perfect way to start our vacation.
Stopping at remote islands, we listened to and identified the birds we would hear throughout the rest of our trip. It was also a sweet introduction to some of the local flora.
We all enjoyed the best charcuterie tray in New Zealand with our lovely host and hostess. Such a pleasure!

Thank you for you great review and enjoyed time on Pacific Star on the Hauraki Gulf, the neighbouring islands and our flora and fauna. We have some amazing birdlife and birdsong is always heard on the remote islands and Waiheke itself.

Fantastic time cruising around with Terra and Tide, on the Pacific Star catamaran, with our family.
The boat was great: clean, safe, spacious, all the amenities. The crew were even better: super friendly, informative, courteous, professional, and just fun!
Lots of great stories about locals, the islands, the fisheries, restoration, real estate, and more. Had a fantastic time, would highly recommend to all!
Lastly: they did a great job accommodating our kids, with safety equipment, your adjustments, snacks, and more. Thank you!

Quick communicators, seamless day, easygoing, and great lunch - can't ask for much more! They even helped us prepare some uni from sea urchins we caught while snorkeling / paddle boarding.

Ability to snorkel, swim, snack , sun-bake at will for 4 hrs in the bay with the luxury deck and kitchen right there in the middle of the water.
