Guide was excellent! So knowledgeable and friendly. Very comfortable. Time was just enough. The house and grounds were awesome!

The driver/guide (Robert) was excellent - friendly and informative - though the minibus was not very comfortable and his microphone did not work sso it was difficult to hear in the back. Mounr vernon itself was both pretty and interesting and in a wonderful location of the Potomac.

Wonderful tour but if you have trouble walking much just be warned. Be sure to see films in education center especially Fight To Be Free.

We saw a lot for both Alexandria and Mount Vernon. Alexandria is covered by driving through the downtown streets and learning about the stories. Mount Vernon is definitely more hands-on with your own self-guided tour. Robert, our tour guide driving us to and fro, was very knowledgeable and very professional.

Our guide Robert was very informative as he pointed out the different locations going to and coming from Mt Vernon. Mount Vernon was interesting to see as we are both "history buffs".

Our driver was very knowledgeable and did a good job. The biggest disappointment for our tour is that our bus was over an hour late picking us up. We were told the bus would be 15 minutes late and it was much later than that, without any updates from our tour operator. Our tour included tickets to Mount Vernon and we arrived at lunch time. The Mount Vernon tickets included access to the house at a specific time so we still had some time to explore the grounds, grab a quick lunch and see the house. We did not have time to explore the visitors center or the historic items at the exit. Our tour was supposed to include some time in Alexandria but we did not have time to stop as we just rode through the town and our driver explained some of the historic building. It was nice to let someone else drive and hear some of the history and as I said, our driver did a nice job. The long wait for the bus to arrive was disheartening and who knows what was sacrificed along our trip to make up for the lost time.

Bobby was our tour guide & he was fantastic! He is a history buff and kept us entertained with historical knowledge and his humor. Good driver, fun personality & we loved the Mount Vernon experience! Highly recommend this tour and if you have a choice, ask for BOBBY! He is the GOAT!

This excursion is worth the money the driver of the van is knowledgeable and funny. The time in the van goes quickly. The people working at Mount Vernon are personable and can answer almost any question they are given. My husband and I enjoyed this trip!

Zuma left out family at the FDR museum . He told us to meet him at 12 and we were looking for the bus at 1202. If another bus had not been there our family would have been stranded. I am a senior citizen along with a cancer survivor. It was rainy and cold. Very unprofessional. I would not. recommend your company ever.

Arrive early and you can pick your seat anywhere on the bus. On the return trip most people sat in their same seats.

No masks or proof of vaccination were required. Signs indicate that vaccinated people’s do not have to wear a mask and the sign states unvaccinated people should were a mask. But there is no control. Few people wore a mask. The van to the event was too small. We were cramped in a little van and the trip was not as described in the itinerary.

This tour is essentially a pick up 11am and drop off 4pm service. Mount Venon house/ estate tour was conducted by in house tour guides. Our driver squeezed all 11 of us into a small van and drove us to Mount Venon with a whistle stop at Christ Church at the old town. we were then dropped off at Mont Venon at 1230 n picked up again at 3pm n delivering us bck to DC at 4pm.
