Our tour guide had a great personality. He took us to several great spots. The vehicle had comfortable seats and the cooling was perfect.

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job! We did go over on time, but I found that to be a good thing actually. He did a great job of showing us some of the main highlights of DC and had the most fascinating stories and tidbits about the places we visited. We got more than our money's worth, and I highly recommend!

DO NOT BOOK WITH LOBA TOURS. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL!
Van was scheduled to leave at 7:30 from the Hyatt Capitol Hill. We arrived to the hotel at 6 and had a bite to eat in the hotel lounge. When we went to meet the van, there were 2 vans. Both vans were completely full with customers who were sitting in hot, unconditioned vans with the doors opened. I don't know if they had 7:00 reservations or what the problem was. They were no seats available for my party of 5, another party of 6, and a couple parties of 2. We all sat outside in the sun waiting for some assistance. Eventually, one of the operators came to inform us that we could take the tour another day (which we already had plans as the next day was the 4th of July and my out-of-town guests were leaving on July 5) or we could wait for their owner to come and bring another van. The owner was in Annapolis Maryland, which is a 32 mile, 48 min drive (without traffic) . We had already waited 45 minutes. We decided to leave. One of the employees apologized, said that the entire situation was embarrassing and gave me his owners cell phone#. The owner, Joe, was very unhelpful and argumentative and refused to refund me. I had to get viator involved.

So sorry you feel this way
You arrived at the starting point and 4 buses were full which is true.
Dispatch called for backup which did not take too long to arrive and other guests were picked up and took the tour
But you chose to leave because you said you paid for a private tour and one in your group had a compromised immunity
we informed you that you could pay a difference and get a private tour but you insisted you paid for a private tour but you did not.

The tour was over a half hour late leaving. The bus was hot and Bobby our driver was not big on turning on the ac. He told many lame "dad jokes." It went from ok to poor when he began talking politics. One customer told him he should stop before he really insulted someone. He answer was "I don't care". That customer got off at the next intersection. Not a great way to run a business.

Our guide did as well as he could in the rain but lacked the ability to make the facts and places interesting. His deliverance was very cut and dry. No humor present. Not even remotely. Longest 3 hrs of my life. I thought it would never end. Nothing fun or exciting. I would NEVER recommend taking this particular tour. Not even to an enemy.

Our tour guide CoCaptain was great! He was very knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting. DC is so pretty at night, would definitely recommend the night time tour!!!

While our driver was very nice and courteous, we found his delivery style to be a little annoying. Maybe it was just us (long day, etc), but he kept saying "etcetera, etcetera" and "do you understand?".
It hate to leave a negative review, because he WAS very nice. Unfortunately, we got off early and ended up wasting our money... and THEN had the expense of getting back to the starting point. I fully recognize that this was our choice, but we just couldn't take it anymore.
Clean bus. Arrived on time. Nice driver.
