Outstanding tour. Jeff is a very knowledgeable and thoughful guide to take you around Washington DC and it many monuments and museums. Lots of off the grid knowledge about any of your interests or needs. On time, polite and very safety conscious. A real pro. Highly recommended.

We were in town for business and wanted to end the week with a fun activity. Jeff came highly recommended. I’ve visited the DC sites before, but never with a tour guide. Jeff absolutely crushed it. He took 7 of us on a bike tour which is the best way to see the city. He’s an amazing storyteller and historian. He’s animated and engaging. I can’t recommend this experience enough. If you are coming to DC, book this tour!

Indeed - a bike tour with the team is a great way to wrap meetings OR a great way to kick things off! I'm so glad you had a great time and appreciate your resounding compliments (YES! Jeff was recommended to us from family friends who had taken his tour. Our family of 4 (me, hubby, two "kids" ages 18 and 20) had the most amazing ride. I am not great on a bike and let Jeff know prior to our visit. Jeff setup my bike the way I wanted, kept an eye on me during our ride and customized our ride to limit riding in traffic as much as possible. We had no idea how bike friendly DC is, partly due to Jeff's previous advocacy work. I was much more at ease seeing the barriers and bright/wide bike lanes throughout the city. We could not believe how many monuments/sights Jeff showed us during our ride, and he kept us totally engaged with historical facts (both textbook and anecdotal) peppered with lots of dad jokes! We would highly recommend this to get a great overview of DC because it would have been exhausting by foot yet much more personal than a bus tour. Jeff was prompt at our hotel with everything we needed, including water bottles which we got to keep and snacks to fuel our ride. He took multiple family photos for us during the ride which he airdropped when we were done. We would totally do this again on a future visit!

What an awesome experience with Charlie. We took a 50km loop around DC from our hotel. The parks, cycling infrastructure and sights were amazing.
Arrangements prior to the tour was simple, fast, efficient and most of all, customizable!
My wife is pretty new to cycling and she did the distance in good time and enjoyed in thoroughly!
I had a gravel and wifey had a hybrid. Bikes were well maintained and we even got free bottles too!

Jeff worked with me to customize our surprise anniversary day ride. We had seen some of the key sights but not all before the ride. If we were near a “must see,” Jeff was happy to lead us right to the front! He took photos along the way so we didn’t have to worry about that. We rode about 20 miles and had plenty of water and snacks available. Very knowledgeable about the District and what a fun ride!! Highly recommended experience!

The best way to really see and get to know Washington DC, hear great, engaging stories, and learn the history of the city and the country. Great equipment, wonderful guide, perfect pace; couldn't give Jeff and his company a higher recommendation.

Jeff is the real deal. From the moment we met, I could feel his passion for what he does. I chose Jeff based on his incredible reviews and I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. Our daughter has special needs and can't ride a bike independently. Jeff offered us a tandem and was so engaging. He really goes above and beyond. We could have never visited this many historical monuments and landmarks on foot. We had booked a 3 hour ride, but we extended it because we were having so much fun. If we didn't have a plane to catch, we would have stayed even longer. He always had a fun story and great suggestions for photo ops. Jeff, we can't thank you enough for a fantastic ride and a perfect ending to our trip. It's so apparent you live life to the fullest and do what you love. Thankful our paths crossed. Hope to ride again with you in the future!

This custom tour was absolutely fantastic! From Bethesda, we took the Capital Cresent Trail into the city, paid our respects at the Martin Luther King Jr memorial, captured a group pic under the cherry blossoms, explored The Wharf in southwest DC, rode through the beautifully tranquil Anacostia Park, and took the Rock Creek Park bikeway home - all on off road trails or protected bike lanes. It truly was an amazing day of riding with friends. Many, many thanks to Jeff who not only created a route for multiple skill levels but also provided us with snipets of history (and snacks!) throughout the ride.

I highly recommend biking with Jeff. I learned a lot about the layout of the Mall and monuments. Jeff explained what we were seeing in a thoughtful, engaging manner. Our group consisted of two teen girls and two Moms in town for a Mom/Daughter DC Spring break trip. All four of us girls and ladies felt safe 100% of the time doing the night bike ride. I called Jeff prior to booking. He gave us excellent suggestions about the timing of the ride. We enjoyed the sunset and saw the monuments at night which was memorable. He also patiently took many great pictures. The bikes and helmets were quality. Jeff was punctual and checked carefully to make sure the bikes and helmets fit us. This is a fun and safe experience for families or a group of women with a genuinely kind guide.

Prior to beginning our ride Jeff ensured that the equipment he provided fit us perfectly and was top quality.
Among the 4 of us on the tour, two of us are life long Washingtonians and two of us live in Maine. Jeff was extraordinarily knowledgeable about every stop we made along the trip. All of us learned a great deal about the places Jeff took us to.
We highly recommend Jeff to all levels of bikers and all age groups. You will learn a lot about Washington sites and have a great time on your bike ride.

Can you go inside any of the museums on the bike tour. Can you lock up the bikes?

Short answer to both is yes. The tour is customized, so you have great flexibility in amending your schedule, including going in museums. And locks are available, too. Be sure to talk to Jeff about your interests.
