Charles had an ASTOUNDING amount of knowledge. Truly, unbelievable. I had a terrific learning experience. He was also funny and polite. I really enjoyed this bus tour.

We showed up for our 7:30 tour, lined up, and were told they didn't have room for us on the bus. They let people on who were behind us in line, and left behind at least 20 people. We were told we'd be refunded our money, but who will refund us the $40 Lyfts we took to get to the meeting place and back? Very unprofessional!

The night tour is a must do if you are in DC. Chris and Sally were excellent! The tour ran very smooth and we were able to see several attractions in the 3 hours.

Our tour guide Vernon and driver Lee was outstanding - very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour ran on time. The bus was comfortable and well air conditioned. The walking isnt unbearable. Very good views at every stop. I looked at every similar tour and this had the best reviews - they did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

Rude staff, poorly organized. We had bought and paid for 4 tickets using Trip Advisor. Yet they wouldn’t let us get on the bus because my husband was still picking up coffee. The tour was not to start for another 30 minutes, so it’s not as though we were holding up the trip. They asked me and my kids to step out of the line and created such a scene. Tainted our DC trip. To make things worse, we could barely understand the tour guide. Just avoid.

We enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Charles was very knowledgeable and made the tour very fun. Although the tour was advertised as 3 hours, it ended up being 4 hours which gave us more time to see and take pictures at each site. I recommend this tour.

The driver was great, but it started pouring down rain after the first stop at the capitol. There was no offer to reschedule. We spent the entire time on the bus because it was raining too hard. I know the weather can’t be controlled, but a reschedule or refund should have been offered since it’s hop on/hop off. I feel like it was a real waste of money.

DeWayne! (Or Dwayne) was incredible! He did not use any written materials and we could not believe the amount of information he had in his brain. Numerous names of not just famous historic figures but even the designers and the builders and the artists behind every aspect of each building or monument we went to. And all those dates, not just the years but right down to the month and day of each action, death, commencement or dedication or anniversary of every monument we saw. He was born in raised in DC and it’s in his blood. Dwayne the best tour guide that I’ve ever experienced and I could tell that she made the trip enjoyable for everyone on that bus. So much so that we got out in the pouring rain of a tremendous thunderstorm and cloudburst at each stop!

The tour was a little late bul they probably never sell out because they just call new busses when the others fill up. Our lovely guide did give us the full tour but because we got back late, the Uber's were scarce and waiting for a Lyft downtown at night with the mentally disabled street folks was scary. So consider this when you book a tour.
The nighttime tour is lovely, cool, and magical and we saw fireflies! After spending the day touring Congress, the Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian, we were thrilled to ride on a bus.
The guide was very knowledgeable, if sometimes challenging to understand. Landmarks pointed out from the bus were difficult to see at night. If I did it again, I'd try to book an open air bus, but this bus was lovely and highly air conditioned if you want to be cool. The bus stopped at all the right places for about the right amount of time, so these tours are an efficient way to see the monuments with smaller crowds.
Guide was funny, too, yet reverent to our Nation's capitol, a nice combination, hard to achieve, and always nice.

Because it is a coach bus, it most likely has storage for luggage underneath. But the best way to find out is to check their page for "Handicapped Accessibility." There is quite a bit of in & out of the bus, though. So be prepared. We had driven 6 hours to get to DC the day we did this, and by the last stop, I just stayed in the bus. 🙂
