Last week on the day of my scheduled tour, I was greeted by Splash Wave representative who suggested that my group use the restroom before the tour. When I we returned shortly after, we were informed that the tour was "cancelled" but for a fee, we could take a private tour with another man who showed up. He had no credentials or indication that he was anything other than in on the scam. Stick with your Cruise Ship Tours! Belize is one of the murder capitals of the world and you should NOT enter an agreement with a private operator. This is dangerous. Shame on Splash Wave for promoting these dangerous situations.

Went to kusum a beach, old Belize. $10 per person each way from cruise terminal.$15 entry per person but provides sun beds, changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities. Very reasonable prices for food and drinks. Lagoon style pool with inflatables and water chute. Excellent day out .

We had a tendering issue with our cruise and we missed our excursion that we had planned for over one year. So that left us in port with nothing to do with the kids all day. There were several people holding signs advertising going to a beach. These people were all wearing pastel purple shirts and charged $40pp for adults and $35 for the kids. We did not know what else to do with the kids and thought that they might enjoy a beach day. We were promised a 15 minute bus ride and then be taken to a beach. It was in fact, a 45 minute bus ride to a POOL. We paid almost $200 to go to a pool! A complete and total rip off. We couldn't even see that it was a pool until our driver walked away and left us there. This puts a really bad taste in the mouth of people visiting and I have no interest in ever going back to that country.

Hello, we’re sorry for the situation you been. But we have no control over the other people selling tours at the port.
We have our tours that you can book directly with us.

If I can give this a -100 I would. We ordered food by the swimming area and we didn't even get what we wanted and they even shorted us of what we ordered. We had to wait another 30 minutes in order to get the order they misses and even so it was not what we wanted. Bad food service at an expensive price. Drinks from the bar were on the spot though. No complains there. I will never order food from here again.

I would rate this -10 if I could!!!!! No Shows!! Didn’t call us to let us know! We walked all around the area they were supposed to pick us up for an HOUR!! We had locals calling to try and help us out, they never answered their phones!! Finally, a front desk person at our hotel, who said she knew someone who worked there, was able to contact someone at the tour company an hour after we were supposed to be picked up. They told her we were the only two people signed up that day, so they couldn’t do the trip!!! No communication whatsoever from them! Don’t spend your hard earned money with this outfit!!

Small beach but fun activities for the family. I would suggest arriving early when it opens as it gets packed later in the afternoon.

We have been here 3 previous and have had a great time, not crowded and peaceful. This time sand fleas were AWFUL and I got so many bites it’s miserable and my skin is so itchy and looks awful with all these bites.

Estávamos em um cruzeiro com parada em Belize. Vc imagina no Caribe uma praia linda, com água azul e areia branca, mas não, a praia era artificial e tinha que pagar para entrar. A estrutura não é ruim, mas vc está no Caribe e no mínimo procura uma experiência diferente. Não recomendo. Pelas fotos parece um lugar incrível. Bom, depende de quem vê. Eu não gostei.

The City Tour was very good. Our gour guide was a great historian which made the tour a great experience.
Kukumba Beach is a man made beach. If you have very limited time and want sun and 'faux' beach, this is an average substitute. The food at the onsite restaurant is good.

Friends of Belize Youth Ambassadors 2018 wanted to go to Kukumba Beach. As mother of one of the youths I went with my 78 year old mother. We swam until we got enough. Great place to be in the summer.
