Deze tour was geweldig, 1 van de beste ervaringen uit onze rondreis! Onze gids Pedro was uitstekend. Hij wist heel veel te vertellen over de grot en de maya cultuur. In de grot zelf liggen honderden potten die gebruikt werden door de Mayas om water op te vangen. Er liggen ook resten van menselijke offers in de grot. Ik zou zeggen en skip de ATM caves en doe deze, wij waren de enige toeristen die dag. Terwijl de ATM cave dagelijks door tientallen toeristen wordt bezocht.
Achteraf verfrissende duik in blue hole.

Also ich geh regelmäßig wandern, klettern und zum Sport, aber dass hier war einfach abnormal. Teilweise 3-4 Meter freies klettern. Alles rutschig in der Höhle. Es gab keine Sicherungen, Seile oder sonst was. Nicht nur das es anstrengend war sondern auch extrem gefährlich!!!! Guide genervt und immer voraus gelaufen. Licht Gabs nur am Helm. Teilweise auch sehr kleine Spalten durch die man muss. Ich hatte teilweise echt Angst dass ich da nicht lebend raus komme und wie gesagt ich bin dünn und sportlich. Danach zum Blue Hole - ja ganz nett, 40 Minuten Stopp, dann kaltes Essen aus der plastikbox, Hähnchen war kalt etc. War okay aber für den gesamten Preis auch was anderes erwartet…. Bin echt sauer!!!

This was a great tour with our amazing guide Miguel. He really knew the caves and every loose rock of it as well as the Mayan culture. Lunch was also very nice and of course the rum punch at the end.
Consider if you want to do it that it is a great experience but also quite challenging physically and a bit mentally as well (especially if a little claustrophobic).

Excellent experience. Our guide, Selwyn, was fenomenal. He was friendly, clear, kind, looked out for our safety, and was generous with his knowledge and time.
The jungle and cave were incredible.
The blue hole was so clean and clear.
The cave is challenging and the group has to agree to proceed. I recommended visiting with people of similar strength commitment, and goals so that all are content with the experience.

Selwyn was a great tour guide, making sure we were safe and explained the history with humor very well. Your clothes and shoes will get dirty and this will be a workout for sure. Make sure you get enough sleep and food before you go. The tour guide will go keep the same pace as you if needed.

Such a unique experience. Highly recommend it for the natural wonder.
Our guide Edward was incredible. He led two activities with our group: Crystal Cave and ATM Cave. He was knowledgeable, dependable, and witty. Although bouldering in a cave was physically taxing and a bit stressful, having a great guide made a huge difference. Besides offering climbing guidance, he shared lots of stories about the Mayans and the jungle. It was quite a learning experience.

As a first time spelunker, I wasn't sure what to expect - this cave is known as being more challenging. It was so worth it tho - great experience! Miguel, our guide in the cave was great :) & Luis, the other guide was awesome too. Thanks guys! I highly recommend.
