The most Amazing tour with Jonathan as our guide couldn’t have been any better. From the beautiful mountain drive on the hummingbird hwy yo the awe inspiring Ruins to a delicious lunch and a fantastic way to end the day river cave tubing through gorgeous caverns. What a wealth of knowledge our guide had and quick with a joke as well he made our day trip one we will never forget. Thanks again to Jason also for accommodating our last minute booking…you guys are truly amazing people.

I got car sick from the long trip from Placencia and still was awesome. Jonathan is fantastic. After 13 years you can tell he still enjoys what he does and is great at it. Highly recommend this company - hands down the best. Their predetermined lunch spot was amazing as well, Belize food is soooo good. The cave float was an relaxing an incredible finish. Thanks Jonathan!!!

Jonathan was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about Belize! Our drive was beautiful and allowed us to see so much of the country.
The ruins were breathtaking and we were able to climb all the way to the top for even more gorgeous views! Johnathan has a wealth of knowledge about Mayan ruins and life then.
Our cave float was outstanding with lots to look at and learn.
I definitely recommend this company, on time, professional and safe!

The experience to Xunantunich and cave tubing was great! Our tour guide Jonathan was the best. He mixed cultural history and safety with wonderful energy, excitement, and jokes! He answered all of our questions and more. The ruins were beautiful, hot, and had a few steep climbs. Recommend wearing moisture wicking clothing, sunscreen, and grip shoes for the steps. The cave tubing was an experience to remember. Recommend wearing bug repellent, bathing suit with shorts, water shoes(that's a must), and bring dry clothes to change. Overall wonderfully full day of cultural history, food, and good energy!!!!

Our family had an amazing time on this adventure. Learning about the culture and history of Belize and the Mayan people was incredible. Lunch was very good as well, we had the rice and beans with fish and chicken quesadillas. There are also plenty of shops to buy gifts and other items from local vendors if you wish. The cave tubing was also very fun and not difficult at all for the older ones in our group. Highly recommended trip to try out from Placencia.

Our guide Jonathan Miranda was knowledgeable, fun, humorous and a great driver to Xunantunich and the inland Blue Hole! We had a wonderful lunch in San Jose Succotz and he shared history of the important Mayan culture of beautiful Belize!

Wilder was an amazing tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and patient with my 8 year old son. I’ve done a few different excursions in Belize and this was one of my favorites! Thank you Wilder !

We chose to do cave tubing and the ruins one day and then the ATM cave 2 days later, both days with Truly Wild Belize as we were staying in Placencia. Truly Wild had amazing prices, but don't let that fool you because transportation, guides and tours were top notch! Vans had AC (I live in Arizona, USA so yes it was truly great AC), Johnathan was our guide for the cave tubing and ruins and he was nonstop with history, answered all questions, took great care of us and clearly loved what he does. Wilder was our driver for ATM and Francisco was our guide and both of them were amazing too. If we're ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to use Truly Wild Belize and highly recommend them.

Is the tubing at the same place as the Xunantunich ruins? If not what cave is it and how far apart? Either way, Does the tubing require a lot of hiking? Ie - I read about ATM caves a lot and it said something about a 45 hike then river crossings and a climb to get to the cave. Is this easier in/out than that? Wife has a bad knee. Thx

The tubing and the ruins are not in the same place. We drove from one to the other, not too far of a drive. I don't remember the name of the cave, but it wasn't too long of a hike from the parking lot to where you enter the stream/river. I'm 62 and not overly active and I made the hike easily. Cave tubing was amazing and I highly recommend it!
