Top Notch Service
We used Authentic Guatemala to provide private transportation from the Guatemala City Airport to the Oceana Resort and then from the resort to Antigua. Their rates were very competitives. They operate a fleet of newer passenger vans. The vehicles were clean and in excellent condition. The drivers were on time and very professionals. They are flexible and accomodating if you need to stop in transit for food or bathroom breaks. The booking process was via WhatApps, we dealt with Fabio who was also excellent, quick to respond and confirimg the arrangements. No advance deposit was required. We paid the drivers in local currency which we procured at home before traveling to Guatemala. One small point on note, we speak decent spanish, so all our communications were in spanish and the drivers did not appear to know much english…..but they will get you were you need to go.

In summary, arranging transportation, especially upon arriving at an airport in a developing country can cause a bit of anxiety, We were on a very early flight to Guatemala, in the back of you mind you also wonder if they are going to show up. Authentic Guatemala did not disappoint. Based on our experiense, we highly recomend them.

my driver’s name was Estuardo and he was great! I booked the shuttle pretty last minute and they were very accommodating to take me to Lake Atitlan! On the way Estuardo give some history and fun facts about the locations and sceneries that we passed. He is a great driver, and very kind. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to get around Guatemala.

Recibimos un excelente servicio que nos hizo sentir seguros y bien atendidos durante nuestro viaje. Fueron puntuales, amables y respetuosos. Un servicio de calidad con buena comunicación y excelentes choferes, los recomiendo!

Great Service
We were in touch with Fabio before arriving to Guatemala and he help us planning all the trip.
He arranged all the transfers for us: Guatemala City to Antigua, Antigua to lake Atitlan and back through Chichi market and of course - the Pacaya tour. The drivers were always ok time, clean car, great attitude and added a lot of explanation during the driving. Everything was super flexible per our needs and pace. Highly recommended!!! Great service!

Professional Service, Great Experience

We are a family of 5 and this was our first trip to Guatemala. We had to coordinate 4 transfers between airport, Lake Atitlan, and Antigua. Communication via email and WhatsApp was very easy with Fabio who patiently answered all my questions. We had the same driver - Joel - on all 4 rides and he was fantastic! He was prompt, courteous and safe, even assisting us with a stop to the grocery store during one of the rides. Further, the price we paid was less than what we were quoted by other transportation providers. Highly recommend!

Rafael was a wonderful driver and host!
I booked a private shuttle to Antigua from gua city, however the weather was not on our side. Rafael suggested we visit the Hobbigeton area after I showed him 3 places I really wanted to see. Despite the bad weather and language barrier between Rafael and I, we had the most wonderful time exploring, taking photos and taking in the views. As a solo traveler he was a kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable companion. I would highly recommend booking a tour with him if you find yourself in Guatemala. He was wonderful!

Super Excelente y Segura

Fabio es un super guia y una excelente persona. Se tomo el tiempo de explicar y andar con nosotros todo el dia y llevarnos a mi y mi prima a sitios excelentes. Comimos, tomamos y nunca nos sentimos inseguros. Estuvimos en ciudad Guatemala por dos dias, antigua por 2 y lago Atitlan por 3 y Fabio se mantuvo al tanto de todas nuestras actividades y coordinaba para que todo saliera bien en su ausencia. Altamente recomendado. Este hombre se sabe Guatemala de cabo a rabo.

Excelentes conductores

Excelentes conductores y vehículos en buen estado. Los conductores utilizaron mascarilla todo el tiempo. Utilizamos el servicio de transporte privado dos veces, de la Ciudad de Guatemala a la Antigua y de Retalhuleu a la Ciudad de Guatemala. Lo recomiendo para personas que quieren un viaje tranquilo y cómodo mientras visitan este bello país.

EXCELENTE estuvimos en Guatemala por 9 días y somos una familia de 9 personas de Costa Rica el servicio recibido por Authentic Guatemala fue insuperable, desde el día que llegamos al aeropuerto Fabio nos estaba esperando para llevarnos a nuestro hospedaje, desde ese momento la atención brindada fue excelente, puntuales, amables, responsables, respetuosos, serviciales, en todo momento estuvieron atentos a lo que deseaba la familia, no había presión por el tiempo sino lo que valía era la calidad del servicio.
Realizamos varios tours con Authentic:
- Traslado del aeropuerto al hospedaje
-City tour en la Ciudad de Guatemala
-Traslados de Ciudad a Antigua-Aeropuerto de madrugada
-Traslado y tour a Chichicastenango desde Panajachel - Antigua
-Traslado Antigua- Panajachel
-Tour Volcán Pacaya
Los guías con un amplio conocimiento y siempre atentos a lo que necesitáramos, hacer paradas para comprar cosas, en realidad hacer la experiencia única, cambiar dinero, nos brindaban recomendaciones etc.
TRANSPORTE Emerson nos trasladaba super atento a todo lo que la familia necesitaba, manejaba super bien, muy cuidadoso y atento en todo momento, la puntualidad en todos los tours era de destacar, las busetas super cómodo, limpias, con todas las medidas de seguridad
GUIAS: Muy profesionales, siempre cuidándonos, pendientes, brindando consejos, don Thomas de Chichicastenango es excelente, nos brindó muchísima información importante que hacía de ese tour algo completamente nuevo y único, el poder conocer más de las tradiciones y de la cultura Maya
Mi esposo sufrió una lesión en el tour del Volcán Pacaya, pero Don Luis siempre estuvo pendiente de su estado de salud, muy atento.
Mi esposo y yo ya habíamos estado anteriormente en Guatemala y ahora que estuvimos por tercera vez con nuestra Familia y el poder recibir los servicios de esta empresa hacen que la familia se sienta segura, tranquila, feliz, cómoda, que disfrute del país. Recomendamos Authentic Guatemala como una empresa de confianza que desde el primer momento se compromete con el cliente a brindarle un servicio de calidad en todo momento. Fabio siempre estaba en comunicación de cuáles eran las personas que nos iban a recoger, pendiente de como nos había ido en el tour. RECOMENDAMOS 100% TOMAR SEEVICIOS CON ESTA EMPRESA, NO SE VAN A ARREPENTIR, SI DESEAN UNA EXPERIENCIA INOLVIDABLE Y SIN ALTERCADOS ELLOS SON UNA EXCELENTE OPCIÓN.

Excelente servicio! Siempre a disposición y preocupados por que todo salga bien . Hicimos varias actividades, hasta la ciudad de Antigua, luego al volcán Pacaya. Estábamos en un grupo grande, cada uno con sus horarios de regreso y Fábio muy prontamente nos atendió. Los veículos limpios y cómodos. Gracias por todo!
