We had a wonderful time on our Hawaiian Adventure canoe and snorkel outing with Ehu and Kai Adventures. Our guide, Kamu, was great - he was fun and personable as he shared Hawaiian and local history with us, and helped us make the most of our snorkeling experience in the Kealakekua Bay. You do paddle the canoe, which was a plus for us, and arrive at the bay before most other tours.

Business doesn’t answer the phone. The group left 10 minutes early and I missed the trip. But rented a kayak from another group and had a great time alone.

What a fabulous experience this was for our group! Peter and Kamelusa paddled us out to see jumping dolphins. They provided us with snacks and drinks and let us snorkel with manta rays and beautiful fish. Peter did a Hawaiian chant and blew the conch shell and gave us lots of education about Hawaii. It was our second time out with him and we will go again!!! Aloha

This was a wonderful experience for us as first time snorkelers. The three employees that helped us with our gear, and took us out in the water, also gave very helpful, snorkeling tips. They were all very courteous, respectful, and patient even to this group of six seniors. we definitely recommend this company.

Excellent trip! You canoe for about 20 mins to Captain Cook monument then just have the best time seeing all kinds of wonderful sea creatures. Drinks and snacks are provided and you aren't forced to work too hard rowing (go at your own pace). We even encountered dolphins while canoeing our way back!

We enjoyed taking the outrigger canoe trip. It was a much better experience than a large boat snorkel tour. Our guide provided history of the area and directed us to the best snorkel locations. We were able to get to the reefs before the crowds and had plenty of time to snorkel.

This was a fabulous trip (my 10 year old son’s favorite activity of our whole trip). We saw dolphins and snorkeled to see beautiful fish in the marine sanctuary. Our guide was knowledgeable about Hawaiian history and helped with everything from getting my son’s flippers on to ensuring we timed our return into the cove with the waves so we’d go in smoothly. The trip was a great way to see the coastline and enjoy the scenic cliffs along the South Kona shoreline. I’d recommend this as a top activity for anyone who wants an experience on the water in the natural beauty who might not be up for kayaking. They had dry bags so we could keep our stuff dry. Great experience- would definitely do it again!

As soon as we set out on our adventure, we saw spinner dolphins. The water was almost like glass, a very calm day for us. We snorkelled by the Monument and saw coral and lots of fish. Very pleasant experience, and we recommend doing this on the Big Island.

Had a fantastic canoe/snorkel trip! The tour guide was native Hawaiian and a wealth of information about the island, its environment and even local food and drink spots. We got to snorkel for as long as we wanted (we did bring our own face masks, but they can supply you with gear) and got out there early before all the other tour boats showed up. I would highly recommend Ehu & Kai and you are missing out if you don’t go with them!

Such a fun trip! The canoe ride was relaxing and the bay was absolutely beautiful. Our guide was so accommodating and informative. We talked about everything from the history of Kealakekua Bay and the events that happened there to local food and culture. This tour provides all the gear you need for snorkeling, including dry bags for your valuables. We enjoyed snorkeling and seeing all the fish and sea creatures. We loved this experience!

Hello! I am looking at this tour for me and my husband, and my 68 year old mom. How much paddling is required, I am concerned about my mom needing to do too much paddling.

Our daughter brought her 66 year old grandpa. Mommy and daddy paddled most of it with the guide with grandpa filling in where he wanted to. Additionally, grandpa preferred to stay in the boat, so they set up an umbrella and made sure he had plenty to see.
