We did the bundle in Oahu and we enjoyed it so much, we bought the Big Island Bundle. It was equally impressive and it was the best companion you could hope for.
My review of the guide is going to be similar to the one I posted about the Oahu bundle. We had a hire car, put the phone on AppleCar, so we could see the map and off we went. Great directions, interesting stories and facts, on routes that made sense and the app worked flawlessly. As you approach the GPS position, the commentary started. You can choose to stop at a point, turn down a road to a point, or go past so you are not slavishly following the guide; unless you want to.
We had no issues with the app at all, I would highly recommend it. Wish all self guided tours were as good

What a waste of time and energy. Spent half a day trying to get it to work. The system was stuck in a loop between audio check and resume tour. The App, in one spot, was trying to give us directions to the coast of Africa. The narrator fades out after one minute. No information of value. Called customer service the following day (they are not open weekends) and he was unable to resolve the issue.

I couldn't really get it to work. I pretty much had to scroll through the different stops and read about them. I was using my iPad for the tour. I connected my iPad to my iPhone's wireless, so maybe that was the problem. Over all it looks pretty good. When I was at home I had previewed the tours and they do sound good. I had a little trouble downloading and making it work, but once I got past that, it looked like it was going to be great. Once we were in Hawaii, if I started a tour, it would just play music and never talk about the stops that we were passing, I finally figured out I could press on each stop and press play and then it would tell me about the stop. I would have liked to just listen to the preview mode, but once you are on the tour, the preview will no longer work. I'd still recommend it. Just use it on your iPhone with cellular service and you should be fine.

This app has transformed our Hawaiian experience. The only issue I have is, with the navigation instructions. It took me forever to figure out how to change the directions of the tour, and how to reset parts of the tour that I didn’t take or wanted to retake. But I would highly recommend going with this tour. It’s funny and informative and a great companion.

We enjoyed the history of the island as it related to each stop. We traveled at "our pace" ----- much better than a planned and time dictated tour. Also, much more affordable!

This is a terrific app! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that if it is a one-way tour it is not as adaptable as I'd like - if you skip an experience and then want to go back to it you get glitches - probably due to GPS reception.

This was a great way to visit the island! The tour guide brought us to many places we would not have known to visit, and entertained us along the way with stories, legends, history and cultural perspectives, including restaurant recommendations that were fabulous. I bought another tour for a diferent island I was so impressed

It was the best money we spent for the digital tour guide. Highly recommend it. We took new adventure everyday. One of the best part was the history include with the tour.

Loved the stories and this was better than an actual tour!!! Would do this again as still have so much more to explore. Got to see things that we would have never been able to do on any other type of tour. Please come out with more in other states/countries!

This was a very informative application for the phone or tablet. It had so many stops that we would have never went to if not for it. We even mashed up a couple of the days to make it more Interesting of a trip and not do full circle back.
I would suggest that you do download, because it doesn't use data to run. Also.. next time I'll download on tablet so that I am able to use phone more efficiently.

Hello, I noticed some of the other Big Island tours mention lifetime access but do not see that listed on the full Island tour. If I purchase now and view some of the tours will I still be able to access when we go in May 2020?
I'm wondering the same thing
